The new man formed in me is Christ
Apostle Tracey Robinson
Galatians 2:18-20
18 For if I build again the things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor.
19 For I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto God.
20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave Himself for me.
- I have the outward life and lifestyle of the inward life and lifestyle of Christ Jesus. You should also as a born-again new creature in Him.
- To have been with Jesus is to welcome Him into your life as His life to become a partaker of His Will to be done in the earth so as it is in Heaven as you are being transformed into His image after their likeness.
- You experience His presence through His voice, His love, and His transforming power that touches and changes every aspect of your whole being. You no longer do as you Will but as He Wills.
- This is an spiritual inward transformation that will reflect outwardly as it, not you mortifies your flesh to crucify its lust, desires, habits, practices, behaviors, and mannerism of sin, transgression, and iniquity.
- Mortify means to put to death. We are referring to the sin that every born-again believer will encounter and experience when you take away the deeds of your flesh.
- Deeds of the flesh is the action, work, or transactions that flesh performs.
- Mortify means to subdue or bring into subjection the appetites of your flesh by abstinence or rigorous severities; humble your flesh to the Will of God and His righteousness; restrain its inordinate passions.
- Inordinate is excessive or immoderate passion or desire that is considered as sin.
- This is why every born-again believer must set their affections on things above that are in Heaven and not in the earth. (Colossians 3:2).
- You must allow the Spirit to mortify your learned lust learned in the knowledge of good and evil.
- Romans 8:14 But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.
- Why? Because the flesh caters to earthly, carnality, and worldliness.
- I have been with Jesus. I have been crucified with Him and am being crucified daily with Him by sharing in His crucifixion through the crucifying of my flesh.
- St Matthew 16:24 Then said Jesus unto His disciples, If any man will come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.
- Follow Jesus and don’t look back. Follow Jesus and His leading and not with the understanding of your sight and its agenda.
- Being with Christ Jesus describes my union with Him and that His death paid the full cost for all sin, with mine included.
- Being with Jesus establishes a love with Him that will enable you to keep His commandments. St John 14:15 says if you love Me you will keep My commandments.
- This is spiritual! It is a spiritual partaking in the sufferings and sacrifices of Christ Jesus as we too should display through the crucifying of our flesh and its Will by putting it to death, by nailing it to our cross to follow Christ.
- I have been with Jesus because I have the outward life of the inward life of Christ Jesus being displayed, portrayed, demonstrated, revealed, and manifested in the earth as a Son of God.
- I have died with Christ and am dying daily to be in Him to do His Will in the earth according to His Will.
- The scripture in Galatians 2:20 says “yet not I, but Christ lives in me”
- Ephesians 4:24, 27 24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. 27 Neither give place to the devil.
- Don’t let the influence of the devil through the feelings of your flesh’s so-called right and wrong try to overthrow the Will of God in you for the earth.
- Don’t let the Will of your flesh and its passions try to capitalize and gain from the Word of God through its lust for.
- Our old nature is the corrupt human nature of the old man, the inborn tendency to evil in all men, male and female in gender.
- The new man in you is the regenerated man spiritually distinguished from the natural old man and his old nature.
- Romans 6:6-7 6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. 7 For he that is dead is freed from sin.
- This is what frees you from the sin of your flesh is through its death.
- Your flesh must completely die so that the Spirit of God can live, function, and operate in the earth according to His Will.
- The new man has been reconciled back to God and has become a partaker of the divine nature and life of Christ Jesus.
- The scripture also says, “and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God”.
- I’m living in crucified flesh by the faith of Jesus.
- Romans 8:3 tells us that the Law was powerless to save so God sent His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh for sin to condemn sin in the flesh.
- Jesus demonstrated the death of flesh to all mankind. He triumphed in the defeat over all flesh, its sicknesses, diseases, and weaknesses.
- See you really don’t have a faith of your own to be transformed in the image of God after their likeness. It must be the faith of Jesus!
- You really don’t have a faith of your own that will restrain and subdue your flesh. It must be done Jesus’ way and by His faith.
In closing,
- We all must put off the old man and put on the new man in Christ.
- Put off the old relations to the law and sin, to put on the new life with a new relationship in Christ.
- Your old man must be crucified so that you as a born-again believer is exhorted to make your new life good in experiencing and encountering the perfect Will of God in and over your life in Him. Your new life must be able to strongly encourage others to do so as well. That is true soul winning!
- When I was spiritually dead, I lived and walked by the flesh of the natural man or unregenerated man in his sins which alienated me from the life of God and to be with God. (Ephesians 2:1; 4:18-19).
- I don’t live according to my Will any longer but by the Will of God in Christ Jesus. By means the agent performing the action.
- I cannot do this, but I must be willing to allow the Spirit of God to take control and influence over me.
- The new man is Christ formed in you as a born-again new creature.
- Have you been with Jesus? No one knows like you know, but your fruit will tell us all. By your fruit we shall know who is.
- You cannot bear the fruit of faith with a fruit of doubt.
- You cannot bear the fruit of love with a fruit that is biased, opinionated with hate in some areas or views that are twisted in your ego for your gain.
- You cannot bear the fruit of righteousness and the fruit of compromise.
- You cannot have a voice for the Kingdom of God and its righteousness to serve unrighteousness as a convenience to your Will, the Will of others then call it righteous.
- When you have been with Jesus you will walk by His faith, and not by your sight. To walk by sight is to be subjected to the feelings of your environment and its surroundings to appease your flesh.
- Remember the meaning of by means the agent performing the action of your actions.
Amen
