The basics of Salvation taught to the natural man today.

• When coming to Jesus’ tradition and religion has taught these five (5) steps to accept Christ Jesus as your Lord and Savior to be saved.
• The Holy Scriptures or the Bible teaches us that Salvation involves:

1. Hearing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

2. Confess the Lord Jesus, believe in your heart that God has raised Jesus from the dead you shall be saved.

• Romans 10:9-10 9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto Salvation.
• Once confession is made unto Salvation you are saved the moment of exercising Jesus’ saving faith.
• Here the righteousness of God is reckoned to all who believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.
• The righteousness of God is Jesus Christ Himself, who has fully stood in our stead and met every demand of the Law. This is called the righteousness of God.

3. Repent of all sins. So, that you can be saved from the guilt and penalties of your sins.

• St Luke 8:50 And He said to the woman, Thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace.
• As a believer you are being saved from your habits and the dominion of sin over you.
• Romans 6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.

4. Forgive yourself and all others.

• St Matthew 6:14-15 14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: 15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
• Forgiving their trespasses is part of your spiritual foundation. Here you MUST pardon the offenses or sins committed by others against you.

5. Be baptized for the remission of sins.

• These steps are individual and personal choices that every believer must make. You can pray all you desire but at the end of the day every believer must make an individual and personal choice to choose God or the devil.
• Salvation is the word of the Gospel that gathers into itself ALL the redemptive acts and processes of justifying, redemption, grace, propitiation, imputation, forgiveness, deliverance, sanctification, and glorification.
• Now here are the spiritual stages for your spiritual growth in Salvation:

I.   “Being Saved” spiritually speaking means your sins are no longer counted against you and toward an eternal death sentence.

• You are forgiven through God’s Grace, and you are given the gift of eternal life in Him.
• Being saved does not spare you from the test, trials, tribulations, sufferings, and sacrifices of the world, the flesh, and the devil, but it does spare you from eternal judgment. Which is the wages for your sin which is death.
• Jesus said don’t fear the one that can kill the body but are not able to kill the soul but fear Him that is able to kill both body and soul. (St Matthew 10:28).
• Sins wages and its consequences is death and separation from God.
• Ezekiel 18:20-21 20 The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him. 21 But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he has committed, and keep all of My statutes and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die.
• There is a whole lot of believers just saved to include the ones that are transgressors and backsliders!
• The word “being” talks about developing and maintaining a pattern of behavior that aligns with God’s Will in His plan and purpose for Salvation through Jesus, even when we are faced with the challenges of your Will and flesh gravitating to the temptations and influences of the world, the flesh, and the devil.
• The word “being” talks about consistently performing actions and behaviors toward the Word of God repeatedly and regularly to create habits for the new creature that has been awakened in you.

1. “Being born-again” is spiritual rebirthing or regeneration of the spirit of Man in you and me.
2. St John 3:3, 5-6 3 Jesus answered and said unto him (Nicodemus), Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. 5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
3. Verily, verily means certainly or truly. It is used to emphasize the truthfulness of a statement.
4. Being born-again you should receive a new heart and a new spirit replaced by the Spirit of God in you (Ezekiel 36:26-27).
5. In your rebirth you will learn to operate and function from a heart of flesh, and no longer the stoney heart you were born with. The nature of the old heart operates and functions indifferently and against God in the knowledge of good and evil.
6. The new heart of flesh is equipped to love God and His righteousness; to love your neighbor and brethren as you love yourself.
7. The new heart of flesh comes with a committed “vow” to follow Jesus wholeheartedly.
8. 1 Peter 1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible see, but of incorruptible, by the Word of God, which liveth and abideth forever.
9. The plan and purpose of God in this of your Salvations is to spiritually adopt you into the family of God.
10. Romans 8:15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
11. This adoption makes you a legal son of God with an inheritance and His Spirit that will bear witness that you are His. (Romans 8:16-17).
12. Converting of the soul is a tough job! Winning souls is tougher than winning a body.
13. My job as a teacher, preacher, and a minister of the Gospel is to win the soul of everyone I encounter.
14. Proverbs
15. It is a part of Salvation to convert your soul to transform him into a new creature in Christ Jesus.

1. “Being converted” is the spiritual action of turning away from all your sins to God through Jesus the Christ.
2. A converted soul is a change in your nature that results in turning away from all sin and turning to God.
3. The significance of reaching this stage of spirituality in being converted is that this is where you are reconciled back to God, and you get back His image after their likeness.
4. This is a spiritual process whereas no flesh is included. This is not an option! It is a MUST!
5. Being converted involves repentance, forgiveness, faith, and allowing the spiritual change in nature and behavior to take its course to become a new creature in Christ.
6. Being converted is your personal and individual response to the call of God to Salvation to come to Jesus.
7. To come to Jesus, you must be drawn by the Spirit of the Father God and then given a desire to come to Jesus.
8. St John 6:44-45 44 No man can come to Me, except the Father which hath sent Me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day. 45 It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto Me.
9. Being converted is a spiritual process done by God the Father inwardly as you the new convert declares, demonstrate, and manifest this conversion through a committed life of devotion, declaration, and dedication to God through Jesus.
10. Being converted is true discipleship. You are now a disciple, that is a follower and a learner of Christ Jesus and His Gospel.
11. 1 Thessalonians 1:9-10 9 For they themselves shew of us what manner of entering in we had unto you, and how ye turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God;  10 And to wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.

1. “Being transformed” is also a spiritual change that will cause you to walk in, walk by, live in and have a lifestyle of new life from your new heart and its contents.
2. Being transformed is a daily, life-long process that takes place as you redeem your time in Christ. It involves the new heart and the new spirit; learning to walk in it by the faith of Jesus with His mindset (the mind of Christ); His character (the fruit of the Spirit); and studying and accepting the Word of God daily.
3. Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, Will of God.
4. This is spiritual separation.
5. Being transformed will now cause your appearance to reveal the Spirit of Jesus being transfigured in you.
6. St Matthew 17:2 And was transfigured before them: and His face did shine as the sun, and His raiment was white as the light.
7. So, this is when many say they see your light shining or the glory of God upon you.
8. 2 Corinthians 3:18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even  as by the Spirit of the Lord.
9. Being transformed to align with the Kingdom of God and its habitants to become the Church, a temple for the habitation of God in the earth.
10. Ephesians 2:20-22 20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the Chief cornerstone; 21 In whom all the building fitly framed together growth unto an holy temple in the Lord: 22 In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.
11. This is the spiritual stage where you can truly say I got the image of God back after their likeness.
12. 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
13. Being transformed is where you receive the Holy Ghost and He takes His abode in you.
14. Being transformed makes a thorough spiritual change in your whole being thoroughly.
15. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
