Choosing from the Will of the Flesh is not Choice and definitely not of God

• We love to use hypothesis in assuming without truth that Jesus went through the same things that we do in His flesh then.
• Hypothesis is reasoning without any assumption of its truth; explanation made on the basis of limited evidence as a starting point for further investigation.
• When in fact Jesus had a mind, heart, and Will to mortify to crucify His flesh and its ordinances, i.e. lust, passions, desires, practices, and habits that are unholy and is of the lower nature of man.
• Ordinances of the flesh are prescribed religious rites of rituals, ceremonies, sacraments, observances, practices, etc.
• Well because He was without sin regardless of what He experienced.
• As we read Isaiah 53 we will see that Jesus put no trust in His flesh nor did He make choices through the flesh and its feelings; though He was made of flesh He was still the Word of God made flesh.
Isaiah 53:1-12 Read the whole chapter
• Isaiah 53 is a prophecy of the Atonement of Jesus Christ.
• God made Jesus our reparation or expiation for our sin; He was made reparation for our wrongdoing and injury; He is the reconciliation of God and mankind through Jesus Christ.
• Isaiah was saying that the Messiah would come and bear all the sin, guilt, consequences, and shame for all mankind.
• Our shame is our nakedness that shows when we are without the Glory of God overshadowing and covering us as He did in the beginning of man.
• Isaiah would prophesy of the sufferings of Christ and the Glory of God that should follow it.
• By mixing faith with the prophecy that we may improve our acquaintances with Jesus Christ and Him crucified, with Jesus and Him glorified, dying for our sins and rising again for our justification.
• Isaiah 53 talks about Jesus being despised and rejected, beaten by being struck by heavy striking and blows, and afflicted in the flesh; but yet He would carry our sorrows; bore our griefs; be wounded for our transgressions; bruised for our iniquities; and our need to obtain peace and well-being was upon Him; He was oppressed by being made subject to harsh and authoritarian treatment, yet He never said a Word.
• He was brought as a lamb to the slaughter and as a sheep before His shearers dumb so He never opened His mouth.
• He was taken away by distress and judgment, cut off out of the land of the living and (stricken) seriously affected by an undesirable condition and unpleasant feelings to His death for the transgression of my (Isaiah’s) people.
• Although He had done nothing violent nor was their deceit found in His mouth they assigned Him a grave with the wicked and with a rich man in His death.
• Yet it was the Will of God to bruise Him; God allowed Him to be put to grief and made Him sick when God made His soul an offering for sin. He shall see His seed (His offspring); God will prolong His days, and the Will and pleasures of God shall prosper in His hand.
• Jesus will see His fruit from the travailing of His soul and be satisfied; by the knowledge of Himself and imparts to others by justifying many and make many righteous with God for He has bared our iniquities, with the guilt and consequences of our sin.
• We are the fruit of Jesus, His offspring’s from the travailing of His soul!
• God divided Jesus a portion with the great (kings and rulers); dividing the spoil with the mighty, because He poured out of His soul (life) unto death; letting Him be as a criminal and be numbered with the transgressors; yet He bore and took away the sin of many and made intercession for the transgressors (the rebellious)
• Jesus crucified the flesh to death; with its laws of lust, desires, passions, habits, and practices so that our confession in Him will be made valid.
• Taking on the confession of Christ, His faith and love, His mind, the fruit of His Spirit, and His works will crucify your flesh.
• It will also take on Jesus as our substitute; our sin-bearer; our intercession; as He is victorious, exalted, and righteously dwelling and in authority in our Soul

Romans 8:1-11 let’s read together
• There is no expression of strong disapproval; any sentencing of punishment to those who live and walk after the dictates of the Spirit.
• Believing in Christ we are not judged; and because we trust in Him we will never come up for judgment; because in Him there is no judgment, no rejection, and no condemnation.
• Those that walk after the dictates of their flesh and the influence of their feelings triggered by the flesh will be judged.
• The Law of the Spirit of life which is in Christ is the law of our new being as a new creature.
• The Law of the Spirit of life which is in Christ has freed us from the law of sin and of death.
• The flesh weakens the Law and its power so God did what the Law couldn’t do by sending His Son in the guise of sinful flesh and as an offering for sin.
• The flesh is the entire nature of man without the Spirit of God
• Jesus Christ subdued, overcame, deprived flesh of its power over all who accepted the sacrifice of God, so that the righteous and just requirement of the Law might be fully met in us who lived and move not in the ways of the flesh but in the ways of the Spirit.
• If you as a new creature are still being controlled by the unholy desires which gratify the flesh you need to surrender your Will to the Lord God and allow the Holy Spirit to be gratified in you to crucify the unholy desires of the flesh.
• The mind of your flesh is your 5-senses and its reasoning without the Holy Spirit. It speaks to you through your feelings, guts, and intuition.
• When we been active in the flesh we come to the sanctuary with that facial look, behavior, and mannerism of home or your dwelling?
• When you’ve been active in the flesh your decisions you make are made through your feelings?
• When you’ve been active in your flesh then try to handle a spiritual process through your feelings, the unholy, lower nature you end up “manufacturing” power?
• The Word of God should not give you a feeling but a thought of reckoning. Not your opinion, comments, views, or judgment, etc.
• Reckoning is the avenging or punishing of past mistakes or misdeeds.

Hebrews 4:14-15
14 Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.
• Jesus the Son of God who is our High Pries has already ascended and passed through the Heavens; Jesus did what was required of Him by God for mankind to be redeemed and reconciled back to the Father; so NOW we must hold fast to our confession of faith in Him to be able to move, be free, and have your being in Him.
15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.
• Through the agony of sin that was in the flesh Jesus could “feel” our infirmities, which is our physical or mental weaknesses of our circumstances, situations, and issues we’ve created in our life without God.
• Jesus experienced a “shared feeling” of our physical and mental weaknesses from our liability to the temptations of sin in our flesh and by the agent that was performing the actions of the flesh.
• The liability of sin is the thing that we are made responsible for without the Spirit of God in our lives.
• Sin became like a liability owed to Satan!
• But though Jesus was tempted in every aspect as we are He was without sin (sinning) in the flesh.
• CHOOSE Christ Jesus today! In doing so you will be set free from sin and become a slave to righteousness.
• CHOOSE Christ Jesus today! In doing so you will become a servant to righteousness

Romans 6:22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.

Amen
