• Jesus indeed said that we must be willing to hate our family for His sake.
St Luke 14:25-27
25 And there went great multitudes with Him: and He turned, and said unto them,
26 If any man come to Me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be My disciple.
27 And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after Me, cannot be My disciple.
• Here we have Jesus Christ telling the multitude its not in the numbers and the majority does not rule, but without self-denial, self-sacrifice, and leaving all to acknowledge and claim the Kingdom of God first and His righteousness you cannot be His disciple.
• This word “hate” is in relations to that which is not in comparison with the Will of God and His righteousness through Salvation for the soul of man.
• The Will of man is not in comparison with the Will of God if God is not in control and holds possession of the heart, mind, soul, spirit, and body of man.
• Mankind must consider and estimate his similarities and dissimilarities between the Will of God and his Will and the Will of his flesh and blood relatives: father, mother, sister, brother, children, and friends to be a disciple of Jesus Christ.
• Once you hate your unrighteousness and their unrighteousness and choose the righteousness of God you must be willing and obedient to pick up your cross, carry it, and follow Jesus Christ to be His disciple.
• This is a GREAT COST that many say Lord, Lord will not willing and is not willing to sacrifice!
• The cost of your spiritual adoption into the family of God is great! It will cost you your whole being surrendered to the Will of God daily. This is not a one-time act!
Romans 8:15-17
14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with Him, that we may be also glorified together.
• The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Adoption. It is the Spirit of God Himself.
• The Holy Spirit is given as the First fruits to all that is to be His. He (the Holy Spirit) will produce in you (in them) the realization of sonship and the attitude that belongs to a son, which makes you a spiritual first fruit to God created by God for Himself.
• Spiritual First fruits. Christ triumphed in His resurrection making Him the first fruit to God. In that we are the crop of Christ Jesus, the redeemed making us His first fruits.
• God’s people are His first fruits through His son Jesus. We are cropped, sown, and harvested in the Will of God to become a son in the likeness of His son.
• In having the “first fruits of the Spirit”, the work of the Holy Spirit in effect, affects the present redemption of your soul, with the guarantee that your soul (he) will have the future redemption of his body at the second coming of Christ.
Romans 8:22:23 22 For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. 23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the first fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.
• The redemption of our bodies as we wait is from the sensualities and the grave which will be revealed through the Holy Spirit.
• The Holy Spirit is our foretaste of the blissful things to come. He saves us and keeps us from using a carnal imagination with feelings toward the things of God.
• Every believer must (should) achieve sonship in their Salvation!
Galatians 4:5-6 5 To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. 6 And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying Abba, Father.
• To understand the design of God for the earthly family is for parents to adopt and adapt to His purpose and plan for their family and understand their key role in shaping and rearing godly children.
• God’s design for a godly family is the best! Why? Because God is the Creator of His product man, and He knows and understands the intricacies (complex and elaborately detailed) of His product-man.
• The inward need of family on the earth is spiritual. Man was created and designed to communicate with God from his spirit because he is a spirit encased in a body.
• The family of God is defined as those that have been invited (Jesus, the Apostles, and the Prophets) and are being invited (you and I, the souls to come that have been redeemed by the Blood of Jesus) to become part of His Kingdom in Spirit and in Truth.
• God’s Kingdom family are those that will recognize and submit to the rule of God the Father and the Son.
• All believer’s become part of the Kingdom of God by being born-again of the water and of the Spirit; that have been cleaned and prepared through and in the Word of God and given the Holy Spirit.
• Leader’s! Jesus and the Apostles preached and taught the Gospel, they invited people to become a part of the Kingdom without them having to wait for the resurrection at Christ’s return.
• What are you doing with the Gospel of Jesus Christ? Are you following the instructions of the Spirit of God from His heart to His people?
• Are you inviting souls in with specific instructions on how to enter the Kingdom of God and His righteousness to become real Kingdom citizens?
• Believers’! Will your spiritual adoption be completed before God declares that your work is done?
• If you have received your adoption as a son, are you completing the work of the Will of God as a son?
• Your spiritual adoption is as a son because the Spirit is not genderized as a male or female!
Galatians 3:26-29
26 For ye are all children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
29 And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.
• If you are a seed of Abraham, you have the seed of faith that was accounted to him with the promise.
• Faithfulness is part of the spiritual adoption process.
• Faithfulness in your confession and in your obedience to the Word and all its commands.
• Spiritual adoption is God’s Will for you to accept Him and His Will; to acknowledge Him in all your way; to be in relationship from your new birth with Him; to praise and worship Him for His pleasure; to do according to His Will, without your Will incorporated; etc.
• Being spiritually adopted is a predestined foreordained plan of God for your soul.
Ephesians 1:5-6 5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His Will, 6 To the praise of the glory of His grace, wherein He hath made us accepted in the beloved.
• Sonship is our acceptance in the beloved.
• Beloved in biblical terminology is used to describe a deep and abiding love that the Spirit of God has for His children and the kind of love we should have toward one another as children of God.
• Everything that we teach here is part of the Salvation process and you must have it all. It may seem and sound like a lot, but it is really one packet that comes fully equipped for the new creature in you for his spiritual nurturing as well as his spiritual growth to become a son.
• Your born-again encounters and experiences can perceive all of this and more!
• When families are strong in Christ, God can influence and develop His plan on earth for the Church by His Word and Holy Spirit.
• When families are weak in Christ and strong in carnal and worldly affairs and issues Satan has the influence and opposition over all they will say and do.
