2 Corinthians 5:14-21
14 For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead:
• All you must do is pick up the pattern of Jesus through His love and His death condemning all sin in the flesh and now die to your flesh likewise. What is so hard about that?
• What makes dying to your Will to conform and take on the Will of God through Christ to live again in the newness of life so hard?
15 And that He died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto Him which died for them, and rose again.
• Salvation is God’s designed plan for mankind to live again in Him and not to and for himself, but to and for Him that died for your soul’s freedom and was raised again for the sake of mankind, that is you and me.
16 Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we Him no more.
• A spiritual awakening for spiritual renewal must take place in your individual and personal confessed Salvation.
• Salvation is NOT a family plan; it is NOT an organizational plan; and it is NOT a group plan; etc.
• Do you know if you are spiritual? Do you know since your confession, repentance, water baptism, and baptism of the Spirit if you are spiritual?
• From this point on you should estimate and regard no one from a purely human point of view, that is in terms of natural standards of value.
• Though we once estimated Christ Jesus from a human viewpoint as a man, but now we have knowledge of Him that we should no longer know Him in terms of the flesh.
17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to Himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
• If you have been reconciled by the Spirit of Christ Jesus but yet you have become comfortable in your Salvation with you and your family and won’t reach out to others as you are led or when the opportunity permits you to tell of His goodness toward you, then are you a new creature that has been reconciled back to God through Christ?
• Salvation is not a sit-down job once you “feel” good about yourself, and it appears as though the storms of your life have passed and or over.
• This is FAVOR with God! We are received into His Favor and Harmony with Him.
• Salvation is a new job for the new creature in you!
19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto Himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the Word of reconciliation.
• It was God Himself in Christ Jesus reconciling and restoring the world to favor with Himself, not holding against no one that enters His designed plan the trespasses of our sin, but He canceled them and dropped all charges that we had committed against Him in that old nature of sin that we were born in and catered to diligently.
• Each of our lives were like a “Burger King” experience: we had it our way in our past!
• In our freedom from the bondage of our sin the Spirit of God committed to us individually the message of reconciliation, of His restored favor that He has bestowed upon our new spiritual lives as new creatures in Him in earth having human encounters and experiences.
• So, if you did not get a message of reconciliation to “go tell somebody, anybody” about this man named Jesus and how He has flooded your soul with newness of life in Him, then you need to go back to the altar and ask for it.
• Ask God to make you over again in His newness, not according to tradition and religion, but His Will and Way.
20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.
• So, now you are an ambassador for Christ, His personal representative with God making His appeal as He did through Christ but now through you, begging souls to grab hold of God’s divine favor being offered to them to be reconciled also to God.
21 For He hath made Him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him.
• To be a soul winner in this arena you must be willing to go the long haul with another by forsaking yourself to ensure they are being ushered into God’s favor likewise.
• Christ Jesus was made sin, who knew no sin for our soul’s sake, so that in and through Him we might become the righteousness of God, that is what we were originally created to be, approved, accepted, and in right relations with God and His goodness.
• A soul winner has the ministry of reconciliation!
Favor with God and man
Proverbs 3:1-4
1 My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments:
2 For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee.
3 Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart;
4 So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man.
• What is favor with God and man? Not man’s favor, but God’s favor for man with man.
• Forgetting not the Law of God and keeping His commandments in your heart will give you length of days, long life, and peace; don’t renounce or give up on mercy and truth, but bind them around your neck, lock them upon the table of your heart.
• Mercy and kindness with shut out all hatred and selfishness; truth will shut out all deliberate hypocrisy or falseness.
• In doing so you shall find favor, good understanding, and high esteem in the sight and judgment of God and man.
• This is why your motives must line up with God’s intentions according to His Will and not your Will incorporated.
• Favor is approval, support, or liking for someone or something; an act of kindness beyond what is due or usual.
• The favor of God depends on God’s good pleasure and to those whose walk in Him is blameless.
• God’s favor is gaining His approval, acceptance, and blessings.
• Favor comes from God when your heart is His heart toward all things and everything.
• Mary found favor with God to bear Jesus the Christ, St Luke 1:30 and her motive became God’s intentions.
• Moses prayed that he might know God and learn His Way so that God’s favor would continue with Him as he led and taught God’s people, Exodus 33:12-13.
• Many of us want the favor of God, His pleasures, and His Will to just fall upon us without having to do anything and not even ask for it, but to just be given to us without surrendering all to Him.
• God showed His favor and compassion to His people Israel and saved them then from their distress and will do the same likewise today.
Psalm 106:4-5 KJV Amplified 4 [Earnestly] remember me, O Lord, when You favor Your people! O visit me also when You deliver them, and grant me Your Salvation! 5 That I may see and share the welfare of Your chosen ones, that I may rejoice in the gladness of Your nation, that I may glory with Your heritage.
• If God did once He can and will do it again in the times that we are living in with the wickedness of man, but you’re going to have to seek the Lord, pray, and believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.
• Man will disagree with you and even shun you, but the favor of God will cause him to acknowledge you in His (God’s) Will.
• Many books written with many authors we have today, but has your book tapped into the spirit and soul of man for God’s glory? Or have your writings (book) only made man “feel” good about himself in all his uncontrollable circumstances without the God that really saves and delivers according to His Will?
• Your flesh is your carnal nature so be mindful of how you serve it or entertain it!
• In your private study, study Deuteronomy 28 the whole chapter to know and understand our God in the blessings for obedience and the curses for disobedience.
• You will know and understand Him in a bigger light than just a God of love and blessings.
• Man’s favor is not God’s favor!
A servant’s heart.
• We want to speak to those who have a servant’s heart to teach, lead, and guide God’s people into His righteousness and not into a righteousness of their own feelings to gain filthy lucre.
• A servant’s heart is not a calling it is innate. Innate means it is inborn; natural; inherent.
• A servant’s heart is dedicated to his Salvation without a motive that is not conducive to the Will of man, but only governed to and by the Spirit of God.
• The motive of his heart is to see God’s people set free from sin, its penalties, and bondage.
• A leader’s heart to lead must be a servant’s heart chosen by the Heart of God to feed His people in every generation knowledge and understanding of Him, not of how you feel and what you believe.
• Jesus set the best example and demonstrations of a servant!
Jeremiah 3:15 KJV Amplified And I will give you [spiritual] shepherds after My own heart [in the final time], who will feed you with knowledge and understanding and judgment.
• Everything is spiritual! Everything is new! All things become new in Salvation.
• Feeding God’s people is a spiritual process! It becomes burdensome to many when they are not doing it spiritually in accordance with the Will of God, which is spirit.
• We will never be able to take that which is HOLY and Sacre to God and do according to what we favor in our flesh and feelings.
St Matthew 21:43-44
43 Therefore say I unto you, the kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.
• God will cut you off from Him and His inheritance!
44 And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken; but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.
• Leaders always make sure that your motives are God’s intentions toward His people!
• Don’t add nothing to His Word and don’t take nothing away from it!
• Don’t let the blood of souls be upon your hands because you will not tell them the truth of God and His righteousness toward them.
• STOP following the traditions of men, even if it appears to be right, but its agenda is wrong in the sight of God.
• As a leader of God’s flock, don’t say that the Word of the Lord is a burden, or you say the burden of the Lord when doing the Will of God. This also includes the prophets too because God is against you that cause His people to error!
• Leaders read Jeremiah 23:33-40; Prophets back up in that same chapter and read what God says to you before verse 33.
• Be dedicated to your Salvation without a motive for self. Ask yourself, what is my motive for your service in Salvation?
• What is Salvation worth to you?
• As in the days of Noah were so shall it be also in the coming of the Son of man, St Matthew 24:37.
• Jesus really is on His way back and we can see that in the days and times of the wickedness of the thoughts and imagination of man’s heart toward God and His righteousness.
• Today Salvation is your ark of safety daily and in the days to come should Christ delay His return.
• Ambassadors and representatives of Christ for Christ must cry loud and spare not the truth in Spirit and in Truth to the awakening of souls to hear, repent, be delivered, sanctified, and come into reconciliation with God the Father to live a life in earth that the Word will judge now and God will say AMEN.
• Being taught that which is not conductive to your spiritual growth as a member in the Body of Christ in a waste.
Amen
