1 Kings 18:21 And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? If the Lord be God, follow Him: but if Ba’al, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word.
• Many believers are caught between a rock and a hard spot in their Salvation, its journey, and in their spiritual growth in Christ.
• Many believers don’t even know (made aware) that there is a spiritual side to them that is required to be awakened and grow to complete Salvations requirement.
• Many believers don’t care if they can feel good in their rituals and ceremonial beliefs.
• The phrase “caught between a rock and a hard spot” is an idiom which means to be in a difficult situation where one must choose and make a hard decision; where someone is caught between two bad options; where one is faced with a dilemma and must make a tough decision of choice right now.
• Salvation not only brings freedom, peace of mind, deliverance, a release from the old to embrace the new you but it also brings in a hardness called choice.
• It also brings in an ability to choose the better good for your soul and its needs.
• When we hear the Word of God, we have now entered the realm called “choice”. Because we all are born in sin and contracted to serve Satan in spiritual bondage and slavery through and in the knowledge of good and evil, we had no choice, we only accepted what we knew as the norm in the knowledge of good and evil, with what traditions, customs, and rituals had taught us through the systems of this world which are all ungodly.
• But when we hear the Word of God it opens our awareness to choose. Choice begins and is made available to us because we now have been made aware through the heard Word of God the fact that we are or were once in sin with a lifestyle that represented sin and rejected God.
• Choice begins when you hear the Word of God in Spirit and in Truth as it awaits your decision. Before the choice to choose sin was all we had, and we were born in sin.
• Choice brings in righteousness, change, conversion, and transformation!
• The traditions and religions of this world caters only to your flesh, which makes it hard for spiritual growth in what you now say you believe in.
• Spiritual growth is hard when your decision-making some days may be sunlight, some days rain, some coldness, some dryness, some loneliness, some misunderstandings, etc., but this is of a great necessity in your development to do the Will of God through His Son Jesus. This is transformation taking place as you choose righteousness over your old way to do the new way of life.
• I have empathy for you! I can understand and share your compassion with you in and through your born-again awakening experiences, but I won’t compromise the process and its truth.
• But Jesus said in St John 12:24 “except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit”.
• Choosing Salvation God’s way requires us to suffer and die to our Will just as Jesus did for all mankind by fulfilling the Father’s pleasure and desire to die and hang on a Cross to bring in many souls that will keep on yielding a rich, fruitful, and bountiful harvest for the Father. Of course, we will never be hung on a cross such as Jesus was, but we must imitate Jesus’ process to be His disciple by picking up our cross and nail our flesh and its Will to our cross to follow Him, St Matthew 16:24-26.
• What is your cross? Your cross is to self-denial, your pride, selfishness, and worldly lust and desires to become a disciple of Christ Jesus and make no more provisions for your flesh.
• We must follow the exact same example of Jesus in living and in dying for His namesake to become a new creature in Him. We must surrender our all to the Will of God.
• So, trying to avoid taking up your cross to save your life will be a lost, but to lose your life for Christ Jesus you will save your life.
Romans 13:14 But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfill the lusts thereof.
• Clothe yourself with the Lord Jesus Christ! Dress yourself in Him! Put Him on!
• Don’t try to hold on to any areas or parts of your old nature. Let it die!
• Put a stop to thinking about your flesh, its habits, lust, desires, behavior, and practices in the evil cravings of your old physical nature.
• Even in the beginning God did not and has not designed or created anything for the comfort of your flesh, therefore Salvation is not for your comfort either.
• Do not be deceived your flesh is a hostile enemy to God!
• Salvation will bring many to a place of hard decision making.
• Today the world, the flesh, and the devil are hard spots to every born-again believer.
• For many this rock and hard spot, it is a place of conformity in comfort especially to those that are in leadership positions.
• Many leaders are caught between a rock and a hard spot in deciding to serve the Lord God in spirit and in truth or to serve fables, stories, and feel-good messages that will water down the truth to the people to get along with them on their level of spirituality.
• They quickly and easily become men pleasers, lovers of themselves, boasters, and proud, serving Satan and his agenda to deceive many that are calling on the name of the Lord from a pure and sincere heart.
• Every one that is saying Lord, Lord, is not calling on Christ with a pure and sincere heart because of their motive.
• I am an apostolic teacher and a special messenger called, chosen, and sent by God to speak His heart to mankind.
• I serve as a mouthpiece to His heart in the earth with empathy to understand but to show you Christ as we usher you into His greater way for you without compromise, or by having a form, fallacy, or fashion of godliness that will deny the actual power of God to you in spiritual growth.
• In Salvation every day is a day of choice for every child of God.
• The Body of Christ (the Church) is not a place of confusion and warring against each member of His body.
• There is a spirit of confusion, bite biting and sowing discord among the believers today.
• Many are biting at each other’s heels with words of correction and interpretation of scriptures to prove that they are right and this one is wrong. This is Satan’s plotted plan and field of play, not the Spirit of God!
• It is designed by your soul’s enemy to keep you caught between a rock and a hard spot. Can you not see that this is a trick of the enemy and that souls are watching you?
Galatians 5:15-16 KJV Amplified 15 But if you bite and devour one another [in partisan strife], be careful that you [and your whole fellowship] are not consumed by one another. 16 But I say, walk and live [habitually] in the [Holy] Spirit [responsive to and controlled and guided by the Spirit]; then you will certainly not gratify the cravings and desires of the flesh (of human nature without God).
• That need that we all have in the flesh to have the last say!
• Stop! This is a weapon that formed! Words are weapons too!
Exodus 14:14 KJV Amplified 14 The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace and remain at rest.
• Shut up and study to be quiet and LET God handles the mess being made against you and for you.
• We must always check ourselves to see if we are in the Body of Christ, because Christ is our Head that is if we are members of His Body.
• It is the Holy Spirit that places us in the Body of Christ as a member of His Body with the giftings to function uniquely and proper for Him to be displayed and portrayed as a Son in the earth to draw all men to Him.
Romans 8:8-9 8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. 9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of His.
• We are caught between a rock and a hard spot when we make the wrong decision by choosing to settle any differences of a matter ourselves. We omit God to try and do it ourselves.
• There are no isms and schisms in the Body of Christ among His members for Christ is the Head of His body and the members.
• Spiritual growth is vital to every member of His body so that every joint will supply what is needful for the FULL functioning of His body on earth.
Ephesians 4:15-16 15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into Him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: 16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.
• The Body of Christ members does not bite at each other in the spirits of envy, jealously, strife, heresies, witchcraft, hatred, etc., these are all works of the flesh.
• What appears as a spiritual body and is calling itself the Body of Christ is not the Body.
• What appears is a decoy designed to deceive, if possible, even the elect and Satan is the orchestrator of this deceptive body that tries to imitate the spiritual body of Christ.
• Satan operates through flesh that is not crucified through a delusion whereas many wrongfully perceive and interpret through their 5-senses especially their feelings from an external falseness of deception in appearance or impressions.
• Satan through much study of the Will of God for man has deceived and is deceiving the soul of man to really believe that flesh can be saved and operate spiritually in the Will of God.
• This is a twist in the Word of God and make it contrary to what God has said.
• Your flesh is the deceiver working and operating under the influence and control of sin and its moral agents. It must be crucified and put to death!
Romans 7:14-23 Read in closing.
• Becoming aware of who you are and whose you are is one of the initial steps in the knowledge of good and truth as it is being transformed in you.
• How long will you individually and personally be caught between the hardest decisions of your life to choose you this day who you’re going to serve: God or Satan (the devil).
Joshua 24:14-15 14 Now therefore fear the Lord, and serve Him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye the Lord. 15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my hours, we will serve the Lord.
• It is decision-making time for every one of us to choose daily who you will serve on your journey called Salvation.
• If you don’t choose God’s way, then all you have as a choice is the ungodly ways of your fathers.
• The world’s journey is not Salvation, it is sin!
• Your flesh will hypnotize and traumatize your soul through all its ungodly encounters, experiences, and exercises in order to keep you in a delusional state and caught between a rock and a hard spot of doubt, unbelief, and fear.
Amen
