Philippians 2:5-11
5 Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus:
6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: This is a power that only a few are chosen to have and handle.
7 But made Himself of no reputation, and took upon Him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
8 And being found in fashion as a man (that is the human, physical side), He humbled Himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted Him, and given Him a name which is above every name: The name of Jesus that is now in you and you are in it is the name that is above every name and its allegiance to you.
10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
• When we spiritually use the name of Jesus appropriately, everything that hears that name knee will bow to it in Heaven, in earth, and even underneath the earth.
• Every demon that hears the name of Jesus coming out of you will have to bow down to it and acknowledge that He is Lord in Heaven, earth, and in you.
11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. When the name of Jesus is released from a pure heart every tongue will confess that He is Lord, whether you hear it or not, but God will hear it from their heart.

• To get the mind of Christ you must pray from a heart that is God’s intent, ask God, and live a life with a lifestyle that portrays an obedient and willing Son to the Father God.
• It’s easy to believe and deceive yourself that because you are born-again that you automatically have the mind of Christ. This is what they say and what many teach but where the deception comes in is from a human standpoint because there is a work to be done in you before God will award you with the mind of Christ.
• You’ve got to be spiritually transformed into a new creature in Him and once the spiritual working process begins it will bring you into a place of spiritual newness.
• No profit for the flesh and the human side of you.
• To obtain the mind of Christ you must be in Christ, the Word of God must be in your heart as the governing authority and power, and you must have the Holy Spirit.
• Once you have “received and perceived” the Holy Spirit dwelling in you He comes to further possess, control, and influence your Will as a new creature to the Will of God.
• It is developed in you by you choosing to resist the devil and submit your Will and way to all of God’s Will and way. You must choose to have and keep an attitude and behavior of total cooperation with the Spirit of God as He transform you into becoming a new creature in Him without competitiveness, combativeness, lack of faith, and to allow Him to develop an attitude of compassionate concern with a love for Him, the things of God, a love for your neighbor as yourself, and to seek God to know how to serve others instead of your personal pleasures in this spiritual processing.
• Leaders and believers, what is it that will keep you focused and grounded in Christ? A new heart replacement that comes with the mind of Christ will.
• Leaders and believers, how do you know that you have been awarded or given the mind of Christ?
• Examine yourself from this checklist of the portrait of Jesus.
• The mind of Christ is full of humility, obedience, faith, and love for all of God’s creation, especially mankind; the mind of Christ carries the examples and demonstrations of Christ followed by your submission and allegiance to the Word of God.
• You will display, portray, and demonstrate His spiritual guidance according to the Will of God and not your Will; His oneness with the Father as His Son; His being the portrait of the Father with the image of God walking in the earth realm in a physical body for all to see, hear, and to know that He is God and God is dwelling among us.
• To know that you have the mind of Christ is to have your dominion given back to you so that wherever your footsteps tread you will declare the glory of God as the glory of God overshadows you. This is true spirituality here!
• Your light is the representation of the Glory of God that has returned to you as a new creature in Christ resting upon you as it overshadows you.
• The glory of God was once upon Adam and Eve before their fall to temptation and sin.
• When people see you and see the Glory of God resting upon you, they see His splendor, His magnificent work He has done in you to transform you into a new creature in Him after their likeness; His brightness, shining as an honorable representation of the Spirit of God in you and your life in earth that will compel both men and women to come to Jesus.
• The glory of God is departed from Israel according to 1 Samuel 4:21-22 And named the child Ichabod, saying, The glory is departed from Israel: because the ark of God was taken, and because of father in law and her husband. And she said, The glory is departed from Israel: for the ark of God is taken.
• Glory means to exult with joy; to rejoice; to boast; to be proud of, not in pride, boastfulness, and arrogance as vain glory.

• Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus.
• This is not the mind of your physical, outward man, your conscious mind that operates and functions in the knowledge of good and evil influenced and controlled by your 5-senses.
• But the mind of the spirit Man in you is the subconscious mind, which is seated below in your soul, not the organ called the brain and considered as the mind in head of your outward man.
• You must realize by now that the physical body is an outward image, appearance, and portrait of the Will, mind, and emotions of the inward spiritual man that resides in your soul.
• The spirit man in you has a heart, mind of his heart, emotions, Will, intellect, and an imagination which once awakened, and the outward man is subdued (that is overcome, quieten, and brought under the control of the Word of God) the inward man will portray himself through the outman.
• Your spiritual mind defined is intention; purpose; design; inclination; Will; desire; opinion, as to express ones’ mind; the intellectual or intelligent power in man; the understanding; the power that conceives, judges, or reasons; the heart or seat of affection; the Will and affection; the implanted principle of grace.

• The mind of Christ in you through your awakened soul knows how to pray in the spirit in Spirit and in Truth through the Word of God it perceives.
• To pray in the Spirit of the Will of God your thoughts and imagination must come into total agreement with the thoughts and mind of the Spirit of God in word, deed, action, and thoughts.
• Pray asking God to create in you a clean heart and renew a right spirit within you, Psalm 51:10. Pray asking God to help you to choose the right thoughts and think on things that are of purpose in the Will of God that will give Him pleasure.
• The theme for your thoughts should be Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever thing are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
• In Colossians 3:1-2 says if you are risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sits on the right hand of God. Set your affection on the things above, not on things on the earth. This will reveal and manifest your spirituality to you as well as to others.
• Change your ambitions from carnality to holiness!
• When your affections are in order with the Spirit of God and His Will you will no longer “feel” God and the things of God.
• When your affections are on Christ it means that you have a deep and abiding love for Him; a deep emotional attachment that comes ONLY from your soul, and not in or through your 5-senses.
• Your uncrucified flesh, along with the flesh of others you agree with triggers and influences your emotions through your 5-senses to do what the outward man, the human part of you desires which is your past, old nature and is always against the Will of God and His righteousness because of your comments, suggestions, and opinions.
• When your flesh has been deadened by the Word of God, setup to be crucified it can no longer trigger and influence your Will, mind, and emotions which is your spiritual makeup.

• Altars were built and set up throughout the Old Testament by God’s people to make sacrifices with animals.
• Altars were also built and set up to worship God; to commemorate an encounter with God; to make a covenant; to find refuge; to meet with God and perform certain religious rituals; to seek God’s grace through sacrifices; to express their submission to God; to cry out to God for His forgiveness; to petition God for their deliverance from bondage; and to express thanksgiving following His intervention against their enemies; etc.
• Noah was the first to set up an altar and afterwards nearly every prominent person(s) in the Old Testament made an altar at some point.
• God gave rules to them on how an altar was to be made.
• Individual altars were eventually made by two separate earthen altars first at the Tabernacle then at the Temple. And in this is other processes and practices that had to be done before actually entering the Holy of Holies.
• All this was before the sacrifice of the Messiah on the heavenly altar, whereas God commanded for Israel to build these earthly altars with specific instructions laid out in scripture on how to build them.
St Matthew 27:51
51 And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;
• This event and events further in scripture occurred immediately after Jesus’ death on the Cross. Jesus, the human side died, not Christ the spiritual side.
• The veil referred to in this verse is the curtain that separated the Holy of Holies from the rest of the temple.
• This curtain symbolized the separation between God and humanity (mankind).
• The tearing of the veil represented Jesus’ death opening the way for all mankind to approach God without the need for animals being sacrificed, a Priest making atonements for you, or any person standing in the gap for you between God and you.
• You now have the privilege and rights to go before God yourself to plead and petition for yourself.
• Today, an altar can be set up in your spiritual mind to do the same for you in repentance, communication, deliverance, forgiveness, sanctification, giving thanksgiving, making your petitions known to God, obeying God’s Will, and commands, and being in right standing with God which is His righteousness.
2 Corinthians 4:3-7
3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
5 For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus’ sake.
6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.
• We are without excuse when it comes down to setting up an altar in our mind, the mind of your heart to communicate with our Father God.
• Even through our human frailties God’s power will prevail as we depend upon His Will and no longer our Will by faith.
• Our altars can now be set up in our mind when you are not near your prayer closet and the only display that others will see when you pray in your mind will be the response of God manifested through His magnificent work of your transformation in Him as His glory shines brightly in you and through you for you to see first, as well as others, the world, the flesh, and the devil.
• Learn to pray from the spiritual part of you and not from the human side of you with vain repetitions and words that are amiss.
