“Spiritual Intimacy”

• Intimacy is known in the natural as close familiarity or friendship; closeness; or an intimate act of sexual relationship with someone.
• We are referring to your spiritual born-again closeness and attachment to the Spirit of God through Jesus, that does not include or incorporate your flesh.  
• Spiritual intimacy is a vital necessity to, in, and for the life and lifestyle of your born-again encounters and experiences in Salvation. It is rooted in the spirit of the Word of God that is exemplified by Jesus Christ through His birth, burial, resurrection, His teachings, demonstrations, and His devoted love for and to the Father.
• It is a life and lifestyle that every born-again believer’s new life is cultivated through faith with a willingness through intentional practices and behaviors that results in a life marked by love, joy, peace, etc. with a deep penetrating connection with your Creator.
• Here is the real mystery: the Word of God is Spirit, God is Spirit, and Man is a spirit encased in a body. God is only after the spirit of man in you known as soul or Adam in you.
• The mystery is the spirituality of the Spirit of God reconciling the spirit of man to renew and reconnect him as he is being transformed back to his originality of being a spirit being encased in a body first before coming into the awareness of his naturalness through the knowledge of good and evil.
• Adam had an intimate relationship with God before his rebellion that was aroused by the Spirit of Gods Words, and not through the flesh.
• Adam once possessed the mind of God.
• Adam once functioned like the Spirit of God with his nature being the essence of God which determined his character being like God.
• The Spirit of Gods voice would walk in the Garden to fellowship with Adam. So, when Adam and his wife rebelled against God’s command sin caused him to fear, feelings of guilt and ashamed in his disobedience. This is the true beginning of where feelings came into play.
• Adam began to feel and experience his humanism as sin caused him to lose his disposition meaning he was out of position with Heaven (Genesis 3:9).
• Adam’s nature changes from God’s image (nature) to the nature (image) of the sin of the serpent.
• Fron then on a whole nation is being born in sin in the sinful likeness of Adam’s sinful image (nature) with no more spiritual knowledge or spiritual affections for the Spirit of God and His righteousness. (Genesis 5:3)
• In Genesis 3:8 where God walked in the Garden with Adam through His voice which indicated a personal and intimate fellowship.
• Adam experienced guilt and shame when they sinned. They were no longer covered by the glory of God’s love.
• Adam knew that his relationship with the Spirit of God had been spiritually violated by another spirit. Adam knew this!
• The mystery to this spiritual intimacy for all mankind today is the perception of Jesus being conceived by the Holy Spirit through a virgin that never knew a man naturally.
• God’s Spirit must consummate our spirit to impregnate us with Himself to be transformed into a new creature in Him born-again.
• Consummate not only means to make a marriage or relationship complete by having sexual intercourse, but it also means showing a high degree of skill and flair; complete or perfect.
• This is the mystery as to what the Spirit of God does when He impregnates our spirit with Himself. It is sort of like using jump cables on a battery to start the car up.
• God is recreating us in His image and after their likeness as it was in the beginning. Then here is the beauty of it He breathes again into our nostrils giving us a new life, a new spirit, a new heart as a living soul in Him. (Genesis 2:7).
• I’m speaking to your spirit by faith!
• This is what God does when we are spiritually born again, He is showing a higher degree of His spiritual skill and knowledge of the spirit Man He formed to impregnate him with His spirit.
• Adam’s spiritual relationship with God was so intimate with God because he was in God and had his being in God.
• Acts 17:28 For in Him we live, and move, and have our being….
• As born-again new creatures in Him this is how we all should spiritually be reborn.
• The mystery to spiritual prayer, that is praying in the spirit is in your spiritual intimacy as you are led by the Spirit to pray, when to pray, and what to pray.
• The Spirit of God created Himself in man known as the first Adam.
• God reincarnated Himself as a Son in a body called Jesus to come down to redeem Adam. Adam is in all mankind. Jesus is the last Adam made as a quickening Spirit to come and save mankind.
• 1 Corinthians 15:45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.
• Everything we do, say, or think MUST be done spiritually, said spiritually, and thought and imagined spiritually.
• Prayer is more than communication with God. It is an intimate moment to get into the presence of God through Jesus to express our hearts and listen to His voice.
• The concept of spiritual intimacy is formed in, built in the soul of man because God created him in His image. (Genesis 1:27), that signifies a unique relationship between God and man (that is male man and female man in gender).
• The mystery of spiritual intimacy with the soul of Man is not understood or accepted by the natural man because the soul of Man is to be used as God’s media in the earth for His Kingdom rulership.
• God’s desire is to rule the world through our soul.
• 3 John 2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
• The prosperity of your soul is the true sign of being spiritually blessed, spiritually rich, and spiritually healed in every area of your life, not temporal, materialistic, possessions and stuff.
• Every believer in Christ must be spiritually healed by the Spirit of God and all these things shall be added to you.
• Your spiritual prosperity is focused on your soul’s heart prospering in the Kingdom according to the Kingdom of God.
• If the Kingdom does not get in the heart of your awakened soul, then the Kingdom cannot get into the earth.
• If the Kingdom that is within you (St Luke 17:21) cannot get in your heart to function and operate from the heart of your soul the earth and the world will never see the spiritual sovereignty of God and His rulership through Jesus.
• The rulership of God begins in the heart of the spirit Man.
• Ezekiel 36:26-27 says 26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. 27 And I will put My spirit within you, and cause you to walk in My statutes, and ye shall keep My judgments, and do them.
• The kingdom of darkness which operates in the flesh through the knowledge of good and evil is used as a part of your soul’s freedom from sin and its captivity to crucify it, its lusts, habits, practices, and all manner of doings.
• God is spiritually battling for our souls, so is Satan through your flesh.
• Even though the body is important to both God and the devil to be legally in the earth, but they are not after the body. They are after your soul.
• Why? Because whoever controls your soul controls you.
• Salvation starts the battle over your soul, nothing else will or does.
• This is why yielding your whole self to the Spirit of God to allow His power to transform you into being a new creature in Him is a mystery, but a spiritual necessity to be reconciled back to the Spirit of God and His righteousness.
• Spiritual intimacy is in the life of Jesus and through the teachings of Him.
• The Spirit of the Word invites and teaches His followers to come into a personal relationship with Him that says as He has said, “Abide in Me, and I in you”, (St John 15:4).
• Jesus is saying here experience in your relationship with Me the communication with the Father and draw spiritual life, spiritual nutrition, spiritual support, and spiritual maintenance for your soul’s life and his existence from Him.
• The Holy Spirit role in facilitating spiritual intimacy is crucial to your spirituality. He indwells born-again believers, guide them in all truth, and enable them to experience God’s presence in an individual is personal and corporate.
• The Spirit Himself will testify with our spirit that we are the children of God (Romans 8:16).
• This is an intimate relationship with God as our Father is being made known through the work of the Holy Spirit.
• Jesus is our prayer model. He would withdraw Himself to a place of solitude to commune with the Father. (St Luke 5:16).
• Spiritually engaging in studying the Word in spirit and in truth is a vital practice for your whole being: heart, mind, spirit, soul, and body because the Word of God is living and active to you as the application being put into action.
• Hebrews 4:12 For the Word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
• This is how you spiritually encounter God’s character, promises, and guidance according to the Will of God’s influence, not your feelings.
• When you finish studying the Word, spiritually meditate on it to allow it to deepen your understanding by thinking about it, speaking on it, and to stay focused on it.
• Worship, both corporate and personal is an expression of your spiritual intimacy of love and reverence for the Spirit of God and His Will to be done.
• Worship is not a whole lot of singing and dancing but is the quietness of your spirit in what you know about God in adoration and devotion to the One you are ascribing to. He is the One that is true, holy, and righteous and your soul knows this in intimacy.
• The impact of spiritual intimacy will transform the life of every born-again believers’ life by producing the fruit of the Spirit within them and will encourage and promote the spiritual development and depths of your love for God and others (mankind).
• Spiritual intimacy will empower you to fulfill your calling in Christ as you are led by His Spirit and equipped for every good work influenced by Him.
