Spiritual Perception– Apostle Tracey Robinson
All we get is His Presence in His Word when we study, pray, meditate, serve Him to others in all our acts and testimony.
- To cultivate a sense of God’s presence you must live a life and have a lifestyle that will align with His Word, His Will, and His Way (which are all same).
- Cultivate here means to permit the Spirit of God to nourish you and nurture you in the faith of Christ, relationship with Him, and in the building of your character as a new creature being born again in Him.
- In His Presence the Bible says is “fullness of joy”.
- To be in His presence is to be in the same place with Him and you are close enough to Him that you can hear His voice and sense His presence in you and around you.
Psalm 16:10-11 10 For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption. 11 thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fullness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures forevermore.
- In His presence you sense your healing and deliverance from self, the world, the flesh, and the devil. None of these are in His presence!
- The word “presence” in its original meaning is the “word for face”. So, to walk in the Lord’s presence is to walk where He is facing.
- The angels behold the face of God concerning you. St Matthew 18:10 says take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in Heaven their angels do always behold the face of My Father which is in Heaven.
- Your senses must be spiritually elevated to sense His presence in His voice and in His Word.
- There is COMPLETE joy in the presence of the Lord.
- Joy is spiritual and it supersedes happiness. Joy is abundant and eternal.
- Some believe that happiness encompasses joy, but joy is spiritual and is a deeper emotion than happiness.
- Joy comes from within a sense of purpose and meaning to include finding a meaning in suffering and sacrificing, from relationships with others, from denying your flesh its desire, habits, and lust, etc.
- Whereas happiness is only “skin deep”, its surface, and reacts to temporal things.
- Happiness is often influenced by external factors such as possessions, achievements, social interactions, and material wealth.
- When people are successful, safe, or lucky they feel happiness.
- You MUST be in a place of spirituality to spiritually discern the Presence of the Lord God. It is NEVER a feeling!
1 Corinthians 2:14 but the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
- Your naturalness will never be able to discern the Spirit of God, sense His presence, or sense His presence through His voice.
- Your flesh, my flesh, our flesh hates God.
- Spiritual perceptibility is the elevation of your senses from being earthly to eternally.
- Spiritual perceptibility is the ability to discern, understand, and comprehend spiritual truth.
- It involves a spiritual heighten awareness and insight into the spirit realm beyond your natural senses or human reasoning. This only comes through the awakening of your soul and his spirituality!
- Spiritual perceptibility is the concept of the 5-senses when elevated that will reflect a deeper understanding of your spirituality and spiritual discernment to discern God’s presence in your (our) lives.
- Isaiah 6:10 talks about those who hear but do not understand, illustrating a spiritual blindness despite having the physical capability to hear.
- Every born-again believer that is a new creature in Christ must learn to look beyond their mere physical perception to grasp divine truths.
- The presence of God will walk with you through His voice.
- A heart aligned with God enhances one’s ability to perceive His heart’s desire and pleasures for mankind and how to serve the Will of God to others.
- This is why “He will give us the desires of our heart”. The desires of my heart should be His desire.
- In Psalm 37:4 states when we delight ourselves in Him, that is to have a close relationship with Him that aligns (to come together in agreement or alliance) us with His Will, plan, and purpose then will He fulfill them. Because now my desire, your desire is His Will.
- He did it when He would come down to fellowship with Adam in the Garden of Eden.
- The word garden means “Order” and Eden means “spot presence; open door; delightful spot.”
- It’s in His Presence through spiritual perception, not through your flesh and its natural sensing.
- To sense His Presence, and not your feelings version of His Presence, is to perceive through your senses His awareness consciously without Him being made obvious through something. Now, this is how faith functions and He only functions by faith!
- To sense His Presence in His Word is to convey the spirituality of the Word itself, that is to spiritually learn how to communicate, transport, and carry the Gospel of Jesus Christ in its original intent, which is Spirit.
- As a new creature in Christ the Word of God takes on the embodiment of the Spirit of God Himself and incarnate Himself in you to become Himself in His fullness in a human body again to walk the earth as He did in Jesus.
- St John 1:1-2 says In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God.
- To perceive His Presence is to have the spiritual ability to see, understand, know, and become aware of through the spiritual elevation of your senses through wisdom and spiritual discernment.
- To do so spiritually, your feelings must be shut down, mortified, deaden when it comes to sensing His Presence.
- Mortify means to put to death, to take away, to discipline your flesh and its lust and needs through self-denial.
- Romans 8:13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
- Kill the doings of your flesh so that the Spirit of God can take His rightful abode in you to fulfill His purpose intended in the earth, so as it is in Heaven.
- This is your miracle!
Amen
