Carnal imagination or Spiritual imagination

• The God that we have created in the thoughts of our imagination is NOT the true and living God; He is NOT the God that does what man ask, wants, desires, and requires with a motive that is not the intent of God; He is NOT the God that man has concocted in the imagination of his mind to think that they too are gods and are equal with God.
• Jesus came in the form of God Himself possessing the fullness of God and His attributes which made Him God. Jesus didn’t think He was robbing the equality He has with God because He humbled Himself in His mind, by knowing He was a son. Jesus is our perfect example! (Philippians 2:6).
• Having the spiritual mind of Christ will humble you and I in every aspect of righteousness so that we will always know our position in Christ.
• The god of tradition and religion is not holy, nor does he portray or display the attribute of His (God’s) true holiness. This is having a carnal imagination!
• The god of tradition and religion permits sin and has no authority to remit (that is to forgive) sin because this is the work of the Holy Spirit being in possession and control of the vessel as His Temple.
St John 20:23 Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose so ever sins ye retain, they are retained.
• Carnal imagination will gossip, say they rebuke and reprove but are in the same place in mind (heart) as the one that has committed the sin and agree with the sin, but would do it differently.
1 Corinthians 9:27 But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.
• Every believer and leader must be able to subdue their flesh so that they don’t become unfit to stand the test of that which they are remitting the sin of or rebuking another for.
• In other words, don’t become as a castaway when you are put in a position or positions as the one that you are counseling when you are tempted. Can you survive if it were you?
• Instead, they use a carnal forgiveness and not a pure, sincere, heart-felt forgiveness.
• The god of tradition and religion is not the Church!
• Man’s imagination of God in his state of being spiritually dead is evil, wicked, and warped in the knowledge of God.
• Man’s imagination of God is wicked and evil without the Spirit of God prevailing in the soul of man. (Prevail here means to prove more powerful than opposing forces; be victorious; persuade someone to do something.)
Genesis 6:3, 5 3 And the Lord said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years. 5 And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
• The spiritual death of the spirit man in you lost consciousness toward the spiritual things of God when Adam and Eve rebelled against God.
• Our being born in sin with a sinful nature caused us to be born spiritually dead, born unconscious to the things of God, His Will, His Way, His Order, and to even keep us out of His Presence.
• Sin caused the spirit man to lose consciousness. He became unconscious toward the knowledge of his spirituality.
• In man’s loss of consciousness, the spirit man in him also lost all self-control that is to be unable to control his feelings and actions. Man lost the ability to stay balanced!
• The gift of Will that was created in us, given by God implies self-control.
• In this spiritual lost the spirit man in you also lost count, that is he lost and forgot the total Garden of Eden encounters and experiences with God.
• Garden in Hebrew means “Order” and Eden means “spot, presence, open door, delightful spot.”
• So, when God asked Adam, “Where are you?” He was not referring to Adam’s location, but He was referring “to disposition”, meaning Adam “was out of position with Heaven”. (Genesis 3:9)
• Sin had caused Adam to lose his Heavenly position in God and with God.
• Mankind continues to perish from the knowledge and understanding of the God of His soul due to his carnal imagination that tries to reorchestrate the Will of God in him through a form of godliness, tradition and religion, through his 5-senses being influenced by, in, and through the knowledge of good and evil. Through that which he only knows!
Hosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou has rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to Me; seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.
• Imagination is the faculty or action of forming new ideas, or images or concepts of external objects not present to the senses; the image-making power of the mind; the ability of the mind to be creative or resourceful; the ability to create such images; the part of the mind that imagines things.
• The word imagination suggests the contemplation of actions as a result of the verdict of conscience.
• Man today in his spirituality tries to recreate and recount the memories of being with the Spirit of God from a carnal imagination that is filled with customs, beliefs, and rituals from generation to generation that have been passed on by godly and ungodly men.
• So, in our estranged imagination we try to pick and choose the bits and pieces and parts of Salvation that we want to do, display, and try to serve to God and His people.
• Tradition and religion is a doctrine believed to have God’s divine authority, though not in scripture, in particular. 2 Timothy 3:5 having a form of godliness but denying the power thereof.
• The spiritual imagination of the new creature in you must obey the Word of God,
• Obey means to comply with the Commands of God’s directions, instructions, request of oneself; submit to His total authority only; carry out all His Command of instructions according to His Will; and to behave in accordance with His general principles and moral laws, etc.
• Obedience is a key of the Kingdom.
2 Corinthians 10:5-6 5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; 6 And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.
• Imagine is to form a mental image of something or concept of; to envision or create something in one’s mind; visualize; conceptualize; picture; think of; conceive; plan; dream of; think up; believe something unreal or untrue to exist or be so.
• Man tries to imagine through the knowledge of good and evil and his 5-sense of “feeling” the form of godliness that many portray and call it the Presence of God. This imagination is not spiritual!
• Spiritual insanity is when a person has not heard, does not hear, and will not hear the Word of God to awaken their soul when every thought of their imagination is speaking to them to bring in confusion that will cause them to react, respond, and behave in a carnal, worldly manner.
• Their inability to think and behave in ways that we consider as being normal and rational is being performed by certain abnormal mental or behavioral patterns that have stemmed from an external factor (issues) and diagnosed as having a mental disability or disorder.
• Mental instability is a spirit that is of the flesh nature and strives to captivate the thoughts and body of a person.
• There is no medicine for sin! There is no natural cure or deliverance for sin!
• Sin is better dealt with in, by, and after the Spirit of God Himself through Jesus Christ.
• Imagination is the ability to form a mental image of something not present to the senses, or never before wholly perceived in reality.
• It is the carnal imagination of man that is used to conjure up all these different ways and forms of godliness in order to meet their evil and wicked desire, instead of surrendering their all to the Will of God, who is their rescue from self.
• When the soul of the spirit man in you has heard the Spirit of the Word of God he is awaken to the Word, to accept it, and having a readiness to obey God willingly.
• Soul remembers the Will, Ways, and Order of God.
• When your soul is awakened to and by the Word of God the spiritual imagination of the spirit man in you begins to recount (give an account of an event or experience) his spirituality in and through Christ.
• Your soul’s spirituality has come alive!
• Your soul’s awakening redeems the time lost due to the sinful nature and its bondage it had over you!
• To redeem the time is to intentionally walk in wisdom and in submission to God as you seek the knowledge of Him.
• When we seek the knowledge of God we learn who we really are. We get to know our authentic self, created in the image of God after their likeness, possessing dominion as it was in the beginning.
Ephesians 5:16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
• You now redeem the time by committing to submit your Will to God to resist your old sinful nature, its lusts for the things and cares of this world as you walk in the ways of God through His Son Jesus.
• Your soul’s awakening gets back the dominion that was once given by God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit as you walk circumspectly (wary and unwilling to take risks; cautious; careful; guarded) in the Presence of God according to His Will.
• We function and operate illegally in spiritual things and spiritual ways when we don’t function by faith through our true authentic self in Christ.
• When we operate illegally in the things of God the devil uses you and blind you to believing that you are in the Will of God and God is pleased, when in fact you’re not and God is not.
• And the evil and wickedness of the thoughts of the imagination of the carnal man continues to work and believe it is the Will of God with no conversion, no change, no awareness of sin and wrong doings; no spiritual awakening, no newness, and no transformation of soul (you), but with your flesh still active and alive and making every choices for self.
• Your soul is still spiritually dead!
• Man without becoming his true authentic self in Christ is limited in his liberty (freedom) and the divine ownership of God is not there.
