Spiritual Identity

• Identity is the fact of being who or what a person or thing is.
• What do you know about your spirituality outside of Genesis 2:7?
• The word know here is defined as being absolute certain and sure about your spirituality.
Genesis 2:7 And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
• Here you have the Creator creating from the dust of the earth the spirit Man, breathe into his nostrils and life for the spirit Man began.
• God impregnated the formed man made of dust, breathed into his nostrils, and the Spirit of God’s breath gave life to the soul.
• Well, in the spirituality of your born-again experience in Salvation through the completed work of Jesus God breathed into the nostrils of your soul to awaken him (Adam) and he became a new creature, regenerated in Christ, awakened, and ready to make a choice.
2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
• If any spirit man (if the spirit man in you) is in Christ, he is a born-again new creature in and through Christ.
• Any old things of the spirit man that once had him in the bondage of sin and death through the outward man’s knowledge of good and evil have now passed away and through his spiritual awakening all things are new to him (present).
• The spirit man’s awakening in you knows the Spirit of God and now remembers his relationship that he once had with God before his original fall.
• Everyone’s spirituality must bring you into the true knowledge of God again and is highly individual, but once discovered it is witnessed, shared, and expressed in settings of the sanctuary, in meditation, in your prayer time, in the home, with your family, on the job, etc. This is true spiritual renewal for the spirit man in you!
• This is your spiritual journey beginning to bring you into the knowledge of good and truth as it will unlearn you from the old nature to be learned in your new nature by the Spirit of God and His Word.
• Your spiritual journey is revealed as it teaches you your spiritual identity.
• Anything that has its origin with the Spirit of God is in harmony with His character, as is with His Word.
• The new creature awakened in you (is not trying to be or wanting to be, but) is in harmony with God, His character, and His Word.
• The dirt and the dust of the earth is incorporated in everything God creates.
• In Genesis 3:19 a passage of scripture that reflects the consequence given to Adam and Eve by God after they had eaten fruit from the forbidden tree of the knowledge of good and evil serving as a reminder that this natural man came from the dust and will return to the dust.
3.19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it was thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.
• In Ecclesiastes 12:7 Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it. This is the spirit of man!
• Your soul is spirit, immortal, and his works will be judged by the Spirit of God.
St Matthew 10:28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear Him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
• Your flesh and its lust, habits, practices, and desires working in and through your body will put your soul in hell while it returns to dust.
• Your flesh is worldly, it is carnal, and it hates God.
• Many believers know more about their flesh than they do about their spirituality and its identity.
• It is through your flesh that the devil(s) (Satan) has his leverage over you because you won’t allow the Spirit of the Word of God to convert you to transform you into a new creature in Christ.
• Instead, many believers cater to their flesh which operates and functions in the knowledge of good and evil triggering their 5-senses to operate and function in an earthly manner mainly through their feelings and sight.
• When it comes to their spirituality, they use selective hearing to choose through their Will what part of God’s Word they will surrender and submit to.
• In selective hearing many believers choose to prioritize and focus on their natural, physical, and earthly needs more so than the spiritual need and desires of their soul once awakened.
• Many souls of the believers have not been awakened because they have not heard the Word of God and there has been no change in their ways of thinking, learning, focusing on their newness, habits, practices, lust, and desires.
• Please note: the devil knows more about your spirituality than you do. This is why he uses the flesh as he does to keep your spiritual identity a mystery to you.

In closing,

• So, what is spiritual identity?
• Spiritual identity is an individual’s sense of connection to their spirituality in Christ Jesus through the regenerated processing of Salvation, its faith, its beliefs, its experiences, practices, and encounters that will relate the new creature in you to the Divine sovereignty, power, and authority of the Spirit of God as our Creator, as our Father, and as a son through Jesus.
• Spiritual identity is a way of Salvation that will create and reflect the ways of the new creature in you. His spiritual beliefs and values that are in sync and alignment with the Kingdom of Heaven to bring him into his true meaning, understanding, and purpose of his life as a spirit being encased in a human body living and experiencing humanity in the earth for the Kingdom of God’s pathway to enter the earth realm through him.
• With this wisdom, knowledge, and understanding according to the Kingdom of God’s way there will be no spiritual identity crisis.
• Spiritual identity crisis occurs when your Will has not been totally surrendered to the Will of God and His righteousness. This is a journey that still includes self!
• Spiritual awakening is an individual process for the soul of the spirit man to undergo a miraculous shift in your perception of reality and its spiritual connections and communication done only by the Spirit of God. This process must be done first to know your spiritual identity.
• Your spiritual awakening leads you into an increased faith in Jesus Christ for the things and affection of God with an empathy to understand and share the concerns of another that will lead them to Jesus also.
• Your flesh is controlled by the spirit of the devil, not you and it wants one thing: for you to rebel or stay in rebellion against the Spirit of God which will keep you from reaching that deeper connection that you must connect with in Christ.
• Many don’t make this true connection with Christ.
Why? Because of the two ways called the strait, wide, and broad gate, or the strait and narrow gate.
St Matthew 7:13-15
13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
• The scripture goes on to say “ye shall know them by their fruits”. But if you don’t have spiritual discernment and fruits, you will never be able to spiritually identify one with false fruits.
• We here at Personal Touch Int’l Ministry will do conferences, classes, or services on the spirituality of the soul of man in you, your disciples, members, congregation, or followers.
• Instead of teaching people about their gifts and callings without a foundation is like playing Russian roulette with their soul to the devil.
• As a leader or overseer that also has no spiritual awakening to know your spiritual identity you only keep setting the soul of these believers up for spiritual failure as the devil keeps them enslaved to seek them as his prey.
• The devil is real, hell is real so make sure that the blood of every soul you encounter is not stained on your hands.
• Isaiah 5:14 Therefore hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure: and their glory, and their multitude and their pomp, and he that rejoiceth, shall descend into it.
