Flesh is the substance for the body, not of the body but “for” the body

• Read 1 Corinthians 15:39-58 KJV Amplified
• The spirit man in you agrees in unity with the Spirit of God.
• The flesh of man agrees through feelings, his 5-senses influenced by his knowledge of good and evil.
• Faith is the substance of the soul.
• Flesh is the substance for the body because flesh needs a body to operate deceit
• Genesis 3:1 tells us that the serpent was the more subtil than any beast of the field.
• Meaning that he was sly, crafty, cunning, easy to manipulate, insinuating, confessed himself to be wise.
• The evil and wicked spirit of Lucifer, now called the devil got into the flesh of the serpent. The devil’s spirit could not get into Adam before his fall because his spirit, soul, and body were inhabited by the Spirit of God reigning there in His sovereign authority.
• In other words, before Adam’s fall the Spirit of God inhabited his whole being.
• The serpent already thought he was somebody, he was cool, hot item before the spirit of the devil got in his flesh to use him for evil purposes and plans, then here comes Eve with that same spirit giving the devil his greatest moment and opportunity to TRY and ruin to end the plan of God for the spirit Man.
• Genesis 3:6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.
• Of expresses the relationship between a part and a whole; indicates an association between two entities, typically one of belonging.
• Hebrews 11:1 KJV Amplified NOW faith is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things (we) hope for, being the proof of things (we) do not see and the conviction of their reality (faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses).
• Faith reveals real facts that are not revealed to the 5-senses.
• Faith that is seen from a natural carnal realm is not faith.
• Faith cannot be seen or fully comprehended by the 5-senses in the natural man.
• Faith must be utilized in advance, not when you get what you ask for.
• An example of faith in the Old Testament in Daniel 3. Daniel’s three friends the Hebrew boys refused to bow down to the image of gold ordered and decreed by King Nebuchadnezzar. They had faith in advance not knowing how God was going to deliver them as they refused to follow the Kings decree.
• Their faith, trust, and confidence were built on serving God and His obeyed commandments. They believed that God would deliver them because they obeyed His commandments and did not bow down to worship any other gods.
• The wisdom of man’s flesh tries to obey God’s Will when he sees the destruction coming, that is not faith.
• Flesh, your flesh is the weaker element in human nature.
• St Matthew 26:40-41 Jesus found the disciples asleep and said to Peter, what, could you not watch with Me for one hour? 41 Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.
• Your spirit man is always willing to pray to the Father, but your flesh is cunning, subtle, and deceitful to the point that it will lure you or charm you into an area(s) that will cause you to lose focus on the things of God and not acknowledge the Spirit of God to give Him the glory and honor that is due to Him from you.
• The flesh is an unauthorized by-pass set up for the continuance fall of Man by the spirit of the devil for his wickedness and evil ploy to get back at God.
• The flesh carries infirmities that will kill the body and keep your soul in bondage. The spirit of infirmity is a spiritual oppression that affects your body, mind, and soul.
• Infirmity means physical or mental weakness. In the Bible it is used to describe a physical, or spiritual, or aliment.
• Romans 6:19-20 19 Paul says I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness. 20 For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness.
• Real faith in God is to act on faith in your life by serving God and obeying His commandments, not compromising the Word of God for a season of sin.
• The unregenerated state of men (mankind) is the seat of sin in him (in his heart). In the flesh lies the sinful state of all men.
• Romans 7:5-6 5 For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death. 6 But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.
• As a result of the new life in Christ you are no longer in the flesh fulfilling its lust, behavior, practices, and habits but you walk in the Spirit that is if the Spirit of God dwell in you.And if Christ be in you and you in Him your flesh is dead because of sin and your body is freed to obey the Spirit to allow your spiritual life to be resurrected. (Romans 8:9-10).
• Jesus came in the likeness of sinful flesh to redeem all mankind giving him liberty to be set free from his sin and death so that he can be reconciled back to the Father.
• Jesus’ past life on earth in the flesh is the distinction or difference from His present life in His resurrection.
• 2 Corinthians 5:16 Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we Him no more.
• 2 Corinthians 5:16 KJV Amplified Consequently, from now on we estimate and regard no one from a (purely) human point of view (in terms of natural standards of value). (No) even though we once did estimate Christ from a human viewpoint and as a man, yet now (we have such knowledge of Him that) we know Him no longer (in terms of the flesh).
• Our past life of being born in sin is the difference between our old natural life and our spiritual present life after our resurrection from being dead in sin.
• Jesus has no future and neither do we as new creatures in Christ.
• Galatians 6:8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
• There must be a difference in the two natures when you are born again in Christ through the resurrecting transforming power of the Spirit of God through Jesus and the old nature that we all were born in.
• Rejecting the Will of God for and in your life through Christ is you confessing yourself to be wise, but in all actuality, you are a FOOL.
• A fool is a person who acts unwisely; a silly person; to trick or deceive someone; to duplicate (a dupe), an idiot; one who lacks good sense or judgment.
