Salvation IS NOT a self-pace, self-made course

Apostle Tracey Robinson, 2024 All Rights Reserved

  • It is a transforming spiritual course spearheaded by the Spirit of God and His Word.
  • Salvation is not a sub-course for believers to take at Will to become a new creature in Christ; to decide how and when they will spiritually grow.
  • The nature of Salvation is to rescue your soul from the ruin, doom, and power of sin orchestrated, influenced, and triggered by the wicked and evilness of the flesh of Man.
  • Salvation is God’s Grace bestowed upon Man through Jesus liberating him from sin and suffering associated with the consequences and penalties of sin and death.
  • Salvation is individual and personal.
  • It is a spiritual journey through Jesus designed by God to spiritually awaken, to spiritually grow, and transform every born-again believer, rather than a course that tradition and religion portrays that it can be completed at one’s own pace like a self-paced course.
  • Salvation is a spiritual wilderness journey for your soul’s freedom from the life of sin and death; that which we were all born in to be like the natural man and his learned behavior and ways in the knowledge of good and evil orchestrated and influenced by the devil through your flesh, its lust, habits, practices, and behavior.
  • This spiritual journey involves ongoing faith, repentance, forgiveness, and good works that are guided by and orchestrated by the Spirit of God and the spirit of His Word.
  • How can you hear without a preacher? Preacher how can you preach or teach except you have been sent by the Spirit of the Lord?

Romans 10:13-17

13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

14 How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heart? And how shall they hear without a preacher?

15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? As it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?

17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

  • How can you call on God in unbelief, that is not knowing Him to have believed in Him?
  • How can you believer in God whom you have never heard His voice audibly or in His Word?
  • How can you heart the Word of God through Jesus when you believer you can teach yourself through your own understanding?
  • Have you been called by the Spirit of God to teach, preach, and minister the Gospel? How do you know? How did God tell you so?

Isaiah 52:7 How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth!

  • Good tidings mean news; information; report; announcement.
  • Good tidings that publish peace and salvation that says that God reigns mean to hear, listen to obey. The Hebrew word for publish is shaw’mah.
  • What does the beauty of the feet have to do with the carrying of the Gospel? The beauty of the feet of those who bring the good news of the Gospel signifies the importance of carrying out the Great Commission spoken of by Jesus through sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
  • The Great Commission is God’s calling His messengers to go out into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature; to make disciples, not members; witness for Jesus; baptize and teach

St Mark 16:15-18

15 And He said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

These next two verses are the promises to the born-again believers that do what God’s calling has commanded.

17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In My name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

  • Saints’ feet must be shod with the Gospel of peace. This is a spiritual preparation of being prepared to go and share the good news of Jesus in your new life and over your new life with a lifestyle that displays a portrait of Jesus in you.

Ephesians 6:15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

  • “Shod with the gospel of peace” meaning your feet are prepared and equipped to face any trouble you must go through to complete the task of Jesus in you and ahead of you.
  • “Shod” means to bind under ones feet; to be in bonds to the gospel of Jesus Christ.
  • It is the Lord that will bring us out of our horrible pit of sin, transgression, and iniquity and set our feet upon a rock, and establish our goings.

Psalm 40:2-3 2 He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings. 3 And He hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the Lord.

  • The beauty of the feet of the Saints stands on a spiritual foundation that is Jesus our solid Rock.
  • When God calls, He instructs, guides, and lead you to and through His calling.

Examples of God calling you to do His Will with His Divine Presence always appearing in what He called you to do.

  • Noah was called by God and instructed by God to build an Ark for the flood of rain that was coming to the earth, Genesis 6:9-22.
  • Moses was called to lead the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt from the oppression of being enslaved by Pharaoh., Exodus 3:4-8.
  • God spoke to Moses mouth-to-mouth, Numbers 12:7-8. This means that God’s messages to Moses were clear and straightforward, Moses is fully awake and in full possession of all his faculties as God spoke through his mouth. Moses was not dreaming, and God did not speak in dark speeches.
  • Abraham was called to leave everything that was familiar to him: his country, his people, and his fathers’ household to go into a land that He would show him, Genesis 12:1-
  • Abraham’s calling came with a command, an assignment, a promise, and blessings that will be a blessing to every generation that will come to Jesus.
  • Every born-again new creature in Christ should portray the calling of Abraham in their journey called Salvation by faith.
  • Samuel was called to be a prophet to proclaim God’s Word to Israel, 1 Samuel 3:1-20.
  • David was called to be the King of Israel. Samuel anointed David to be King of Israel, 1 Samuel16:1-13.
  • Jonah was called to preach one message to tell Nineveh to end their wicked ways. Nineveh was a pagan, Gentile city called to repentance By God, Jonah 1:1-4.
  • Mary was a virgin called and chosen by the Spirit of God to conceive and bear Jesus through the Holy Spirit, St Matthew 1:17-25.
  • Paul was called to be an Apostle to proclaim the message of Jesus to the Gentiles inviting them to be adopted by the Spirit of God and His righteousness.
  • Paul’s name was changed from Saul to Paul during his transformation. Saul was a persecutor of Christians in Acts 9:1-9.

In closing,

  • Salvation is not self-learned. It is spiritually taught by the Spirit of God with Jesus being our model and pattern to the Will of God incorporated.
  • Salvation is not a man-made seminary course of training. It is not an online self-paced course.
  • God will never spiritually draw us to Himself, give us a desire for His Son Jesus, and not fulfill that which He has called us into.
  • Salvation is deliverance for your soul from the sin, its penalties, and consequences we were born in, orchestrated and influenced by the Will of our flesh and its nature.
  • The nature of our flesh hates God and is a hostile enemy to God and your soul.
  • Let the Holy Spirit teach you what God’s plan and instructions is for you and your wilderness journey in Him that is designed to perfect and mature the new creature in you to be like Jesus.

Amen
