• Why is it that many born-again believers do not have or possess the boldness as they portrayed in the Bible as our examples today?
• Selfishness plays a great part in many believers Salvation, even in the ones that have experienced a born-again new life in Christ.
• Weak and watered down by tradition and religion plays a great part also against God’s spirituality and His spiritual need for and from Man.
• Many believers are lazy procrastinators. They want only to hear the Word at their convenience, then go back home to doing things their way with no conviction, repentance or change. Not realizing or knowing that this is a form of rejecting God’s Word when you do it this way.
• Salvation is not for selfish, highly intelligent, and morally good people except you have been or is being awakened by the heard Word of God, becoming a new creature being transformed in the image of Christ Jesus.
• We are a selfish generation that tries to love God more so by way of His Hand and try to manipulate God at the same time because we really don’t know Him as we say.
• We really don’t know that this Spiritual God sees and reads our hearts.
• We don’t have the same love for the Father as Jesus did. If so, our love is a selfish, tangible, and materialistic love with conditional motives that are not God’s intent.
• We are people (men) pleasers, lovers of self, and not pleasers of God (2 Timothy 3:2-5). Then on top of all of that we try to imitate and call ourselves the Church.
• The signs are not just wars, rumors of wars, earthquakes, etc. that serve as evidence and proof that we are living in the last (end) days of peril.
• But Man’s heart waxed cold against the Will of God and the knowledge of God is the true evidence and proof.
• St Matthew 24:12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
• This type of coldness can take forms that include fear of loss, suffering, shame; a lack of affection for the things of God; unemotional toward God’s righteousness between God and Man.
• Love that is cold is like a dead corpse, which is dead and lifeless.
• Many believers love for the Word of God and its Truth has become less loving toward God and the brethren (male and female gender).
• St Luke 12:33-34 is a part of our spiritual readiness for the Lord’s return. 33 Sell that ye have, and give alms; provide yourselves bags which wax not old, a treasure in the heavens that faileth not, where no thief approacheth, neither moth corrupteth. 34 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
• Do we not know and believe that the same Jesus that the disciples, the Apostles, and the Prophets represented in healing and deliverances in the Bible is the same Jesus, using the same authority and power today according to your faith in Him?
• Where is your faith? Hope? Authority and power? Who is it really in?
• Holy boldness is having the courage, discipline, integrity, and confidence to stand for the Namesake of Jesus to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
• Holy boldness refers to having an attitude of strong confidence in the Spirit of God and in His righteousness. By allowing the Spirit of God’s holiness, godliness, His words, and His actions to be expressed openly without fear of consequences by and from those that don’t have His attitude that is in you.
• Primarily for the believer means having freedom of spiritual speech.
• The Greekword for boldness is exousia meaning authority, power, or right.
• Jesus demonstrated the authority and power He gave to the Church.
• The Word of God was spoken by holy prophets and apostles about the demonstrations of Jesus authority and power exemplified in the earth, leaving us His perfect examples to continue in His demonstrations.
• Jesus demonstrated His authority over the Word (the Scriptures) in forgiving sin; in healing, casting out demons, and deliverance from sin; in raising the dead; and over the creation.
• An example of authority in St Matthew 8:5-13, the Centurion’s servant was healed by Jesus.
• Authority gives you “the right to command”.
• Power is the ability to do or to see that the command is carried out.
• The Centurion recognized the authority of Jesus. He knew Jesus had the right and the power to heal his servant and that Jesus could exercise His power wherever He was.
• In St Matthew Chapters 5-7 contains what we commonly call the Sermon on the Mount. As a teacher the crowd were amazed at Jesus teaching because He taught as one who had authority and taught not as their teachers of the Law or as even teachers today.
• How do we/you teach the Word of God in this day?
• Teaching the spirituality of the soul of man to the soul of man is not popular to those that teach to “feel” the Word and not be a “hearer and a doer” of the Word.
• St Matthew 7:28-29 28 And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at His doctrine: 29 For He taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.
• Even in Jesus’ day the teachers would reference other teachers from the past. This is a typical thing even of today in our generation and culture.
• Many born-again believers, teachers, preachers, prophets, or ministers are not hearing from the Spirit of God’s heart pouring through their mouth to express their belief in the interpretation of the Spirit of God’s heart speaking to His flock.
• They do not teach as a first partaker of the Word they have studied. Therefore, they teach the testimony of the written patriarchs or somebody’s written book and never their own testimony in its association with and to the Spirit of the Word and its workings in them.
• Jesus’ teachings were not based upon the noted writings of some other teacher or believer. His teachings were solely based upon God’s heart, His Will and intent for all mankind. Jesus spoke as a mouthpiece of one who was an authority in the Word of God.
• In being the authority of His Word, He would be the ultimate authority on interpreting the intent of His Word in scripture with His Spirit dwelling and governing your whole being you then become the authority of the Word as first partaker of His authority over you.

What authority and power did Jesus give to the Church?

• Jesus gave His disciples the spiritual authority (the right to do) and power (the ability to do) to forgive sins, St Matthew 9:1-8; to cast out demons (unclean spirits to heal all manner of sickness and disease, St Matthew 10:1; over creation, St Matthew 8:23-27.
• The Spiritual Church has the same spiritual authority and power that Jesus gave to His disciples to operate and function as the Kingdom of Heaven’s agency in the earth.
• Jesus has absolute authority and power over the spiritual Church.
• REMEMBER: The Church is a spiritual body of transformed believers coming into the unity of the faith in Christ Jesus, and of the knowledge of Jesus as a Son to becoming the perfect man measured in you, in His full stature for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, and for the edifying of the Body of Christ in the earth.
• In this measure in each of us is the measure of faith that has been dealt to us individually by the Spirit of God to conduct, perform, and function as Kingdom citizens in the earth according to the Will of the King and His Kingdom in Heaven.
• St Matthew 28:18-20 18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto Me in Heaven and in earth. 19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:              20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
• St John 3:34-36 34 For He whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto Him.  35 The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into His hand. 36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
• Jesus was not given a measure of faith. Jesus possesses ALL AUTHORITY and POWER!
• The FULLNESS of Christ is God in the flesh as a Son.
• Ephesians 1:20-21 20 Which He wrought in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead, and set Him at His own right hand in the heavenly places, 21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come
• Jesus came in the likeness of sinful flesh (Romans 8:3) being tempted in every way of the flesh as we are (Hebrews 4:15), yet He was without sin, but for sin He condemned sin in the flesh.
• St John 17:2 As thou hast give Him power over all flesh, that He should give eternal life to as many as Thou hast given Him.
• Jesus Christ is the flesh destroyer so that we can live a godly Christ like life doing the Will of God in the earth to obtain eternal life.
• God gives us life-giving authority to the Son, and the Son gives life to all that the Father has given Him.
• Holy boldness is not a strength of natural ability. It is spiritual! So, stop flexing!
• The Spirit of God fills us with Himself who is bold and courageous to do His Will in the earth.
• So, we don’t have to try and muster up or fake courage and strength on our own. We must simply submit to the Spirit of God dwelling in you and He will do ALL the work.
• Just as Jesus demonstrated with the Centurion, speak the Word in Spirit and in Truth with boldness in the authority of whom it represents.
• The Holy Spirit abiding in you gives you holy boldness through His works and in making you more like Jesus.
• The Holy Spirit empowers believers that are born-again to be effective witnesses for Jesus Christ with His boldness to stand and give testimony without selfishness, shame, or fear in every aspect of their spiritual life in Him.
• Holy boldness is a sealed mark of the Holy Spirit’s empowerment in and over your life.
• Holy boldness is a specific grace given for proclaiming the Will of God in you in Spirit and in Truth.
• Holy boldness must first start with the Spirit of God and you coming into reconciliation to the establishing of a relationship.
• Hebrews 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
• Ephesians 3:12 In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of Him.
• Not your version of faith but by the faith of Jesus Christ.
