• Having the Spirit of means in the Spirit in thought or intention though not physically.
• Zechariah 4:6 Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit, saith the Lord of Hosts.
• In Zechariah 4, Zechariah is having visions of God’s provisions and empowerment of His people. The vision in this chapter emphasizes that Zerubbabel will accomplish the rebuilding of the Temple not by might, nor by power, but by God’s Spirit.
• Remember the definition for the word “by” means the Agent performing the Action.
• Zechariah encourages relying on the Spirit of God instead of relying on human efforts, human motives, the human Will, human knowledge that is manmade to fulfill God’s purpose.
• Today, relying on the Spirit of God is still the way to go for every born-again believer in Christ by having the Spirit of God.
• To build you as the Temple of God for earth to be filled with His Divine Presence and Will.
• To do so we must stay focused in the Will of God for the completion of what God has already purposed and planned for the earth and its inhabitants that will do His Will and for the inhabitants that will reject His Will.
• The Temple of God today is not a building but is your body. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 say What? Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost, which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.
• God gives His people the spirit of power, of love, and of a sound mind, 2 Timothy 1:7.
• A sound mind is a state of mental and emotional health that allows someone to think clearly and rationally, and to understand the difference between right and wrong.
• The resource of every born-again believer comes from The Source which is the Spirit of God through Jesus.
• The faith of Jesus, His Spirit, the Spirit of the Word of God, the Grace of Christ, and the faithfulness and power of the Spirit of God. These are resources of born-again believers that are in the Spirit of Christ Jesus.
• Having the Spirit of God is not a random act of actions created by the feelings of believers to do the Will of God, not works but the Will of God.
• The Will of God is what God desires as His pleasure to happen in the earth and it includes His commands, laws, principles, judgments, and statures. All known as His Divine Will.
• So, if the Spirit of the Word of God is never heard it will never get in your spirit to go into your heart and do it, otherwise the Spirit of His Word will remain surface level. Surface level is that plateaued realm that is in your memory, your intellect, but will never become the embodiment of the Spirit of God in you.
• Having the Spirit of means having the Will to do as Jesus would do to please God the Father.
• You must have the Spirit of to pray, praise, worship, although worship is not orchestrated by you and I but by the Spirit of God only.
• You must have the Spirit of too fast.
• To be healed you must have the Spirit of healing.
• To be a demonstrator of the Word of God in this earth you must have the Spirit of the demonstrator Himself to properly demonstrate His Will in earth so as it is in Heaven.
• You must have the Spirit of to study and meditate on what you have been approved by the Spirit of God to study.
• To be affective in the Word of God you must have the Spirit of the Word and the Spirit of the Author of His Word to effectively teach, preach, and minister His Word in Spirit and in Truth.
• Affective means to relate to the emotions of the Spirit of God to be effective which means to produce the desired results of the Spirit of God, not the feelings of man, but the desired pleasure of the Spirit of God for His people.
• You must be led by the Spirit, empowered by the Spirit to do the Will of the Spirit of God.
• Jesus was led by the Spirit as well as empowered by the Spirit of God.
• How do you know that? You know that by the Words He would always say. Jesus always paid tribute to the One that sent Him and to the One that He obeys.
• St John 10:30 I and the Father are one.
• St John 14:31 But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave Me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence.
• St John 5:30 I can of Mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and My judgment is just; because I seek not Mine own Will, but the Will of the Father which hath sent Me. 31 If I bear witness of Myself, My witness in not true
• St John 6:38 For I came down from heaven, not to do Mine own Will, but the Will of Him that sent Me.
• St John 8:26 I have many things to say and to judge of you: but He that sent Me is true; and I speak to the world those things which I have heard of Him.
• St John 14:10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak unto you I speak not of Myself: but the Father that dwelleth in Me, He doeth the works.
• Jesus always makes it clear to us and the generations to come that it is not His Will but the Will of Him that sent Him.
• Jesus did not come to do His Will. When we are spiritually drawn to God through Jesus who’s Will are we called to do? And who’s Will do you do?
• Without the Spirit of Jesus influencing, controlling, leading, and guiding you and I we will never be able to do, demonstrate, perform, or manifest the Will of God in the earth according to His Will.
• All that other stuff that tradition and religion produce is just “showboating” through and in a form of godliness without having or allowing the Spirit of the true and living God to do by His Spirit and not by their power and might.
• Showboating is the action or practice of showing off.
• The spirit of showboating is conceited and self-centered.
• To have the Spirit of God is not an easy task but is a transforming experience that every born-again believer that enters across the threshold of Salvation MUST be converted to.
• Having the Spirit of Christ is what many born-again believers lack because they did not or will not allow the Spirit of God to perfect them wholeheartedly according to His Will without their Will incorporated.
• Whatever or whoever is leading as head of your local assembly is the Spirit of who has the authority over the body of your local assembly.
• Remember you as a part of the body will only produce and manifest who the head is hearing from.
