• Flesh is what many believers consider to believe is saved and not the spiritual awakening of their soul by the Spirit of God’s power and authority in His Word.
• Flesh is not spiritual, but carnal.
• Carnal means relating to physical and especially sexual appetites, or worldly and temporal appetites.
• All human flesh is the sinful nature that opposes the nature of the Spirit of God. We were all born with the sinful nature that opposes the nature of the Spirit of God.
• Flesh is the lower nature of human beings.

Genesis 6:3 And the Lord said, My Spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.

• Entity means a thing with distinct and independent existence; existence; being.
• The devil is not a separate entity from your flesh.
• He is not dressed in a red suit with pointy ears, unless you are.
• Your flesh is his kingdom. He rules and reigns in the flesh and through the flesh.

Romans 7:5 For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death.

• Our members refer to the members of your body. I’m sure you know those members!
• Fasting mortifies the flesh.
• Paul said in 1 Corinthians 5:5 To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.
• Let fasting mortify to crucify your flesh so that your soul will take on his immortality in the day that you/we are called by Christ to leave this world.
• Your flesh will cause your soul to see death.
• The devil as a separate entity is portrayed as an adversary of God and to all humanity.
• Satan and his demons are spirit beings in need of bodies to live on the earth to create evil.
• They are evil spirits waiting on you and I to become weak and prey to the lust and pride to the things of this world to indulge in a season of sin.

Ephesians 4:27 Neither give place to the devil.

Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

• Principalities and powers are not a separate entity from the flesh. These are demonic figures that bring wicked and evil plans, purpose, and methods on the earth to influence, control, manipulate, and possess without the influence and control of the Spirit of God and His righteousness.
