STRIVE to live Soul!

St Luke 22:31-32

31 And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat:

32 But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.

Convert is to change into another state, form, or substance; transform; to turn from a sinful life to a righteous.

St John 21:15-18

Jesus questioning Peter concerning his love and that love is proved by your service. We all as believers can be held accountable for the love that we say we have to be proven in service.

15 So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs.

16 He saith to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yes, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep.

17 He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep.

18 Verily, verily, I say unto thee, When thou wast young, thou girdedst thyself, and walkedst whither thou wouldest: but when thou shalt be old, thou shalt stretch forth thy hands, and another shall gird thee, and carry thee whither thou wouldest not.

19 This spake he, signifying by what death he should glorify God. And when he had spoken this, he saith unto him, Follow me.

Our love for Christ Jesus will stand the TEST through the service we render to one another and others. Feeding the flock of God is of the utmost (of the highest degree) importance to God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

Can your love for Christ Jesus stand the test toward souls? LOVE stood the test for you through Jesus Christ. LOVE stood the test for you from the heart of God. This is why He sent Jesus!

Jesus is the Love of God incorporated for ALL MANKIND!

Incorporate meaning that God has included us and made us a part of Him. We are a part of His Whole!

Striving to live who you really are Soul, with your help, aid, and assistance coming from the Spirit Man incorporated with the Spirit of God, which is in Holy Ghost, and not the spirit (Will) of your flesh.

Define strive.  Strive means to make earnest effort; to engage in strife; contend; fight; to emulate (effort or ambition to equal or excel another in any act or quality).

In Galatians 5: 19-21 you will find that emulations and strife are works of the flesh, but these two works and their meaning can go both ways to be used for good or evil. Here in the flesh they are used for selfish rivalry and strife.

Philippians 3:12-17

This is Paul’s meaning for spiritual striving in order to seek being like Jesus Christ

12 Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.

13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,

14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

15 Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in anything ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.

16 Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing.

17 Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample.

18 (For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ:

Paul is talking here in verse 18 about being carnal minded and saying you are a Christian of the faith of Christ Jesus. This cannot be so! So does it take all of that? Yes, it does take all of that to not be an enemy of the Cross from our mannerism, our attitude toward God, His Word, and the Holy Spirit.

Ignorance is no excuse!

We all want the luxuries of the soul with its promises! But we don’t want to obey the Word of God and get it as the Word has stated. So we go out and do things by “our hands” and say it is the Lord blessing me!

3 John 2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

We try to reveal and display these thing in and through the outward man, which is the flesh according to the works of our hands.

We don’t wait on God! We won’t wait on God! Waiting is a dirty word in the Gospel of Jesus Christ, but yet we all say and want God to bless.

But the soul must be healed and delivered first! Because the prosperity is in the Soul; healing and deliverance is for the Soul and in the Soul. It does not come from God by way of the body and its flesh!

To live Holy is in the Spirit of man, but in order to govern, reverence, obey that holiness the Soul has to live in God’s Word and obey it and line up with it.

Strive Soul!! Strive!

Strive to the perfection of the Word of God and power of the Word; prove God, and see the results of your Soul being perfected.

Don’t strive to base upon what you see, feel, hear, taste, and touch through your bodily senses, because what appears to be is not what really is.

2 Corinthians 10:7 7 Do ye look on things after the outward appearance? If any man trust to himself that he is Christ’s, let him of himself think this again, that, as he is Christ’s, even so are we Christ’s.

2 Corinthians 4:18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

Strive for righteousness! Strive for holiness! Strive for the perfection of the Word of God in you! Strive Soul, Strive!

Your soul is like a target! It is in a battle zone called LIFE! It lives in a constant, daily battle. On one side it is set up between the cares of this world, the lust of the flesh, the pride of life, and the devil and Hell. On another side is the Kingdom of Heaven with God the Father, Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, etc.

Your Soul is being targeted every day through the choices of your Will. Each day you choose who you’re going to serve, then the firing begins – the war begins.
