Hebrews 3:8-15
• Your day of temptation is the hardening of your hearts is the spring of all your sins, the sins of others, the sins of your relatives (flesh and blood, that is) should be our warning.
• To tempt God in all we do He permits, and He allows, and we depend and entirely live upon Him. We truly can do nothing without Him!
• Today is the acceptable time of the year in your hearing.
• Today is the day of a new year in time as appointed to man. It is time for the spirit man in you to hear The Word of the Lord God while in your wilderness journey on earth.
• “Harden” means make or become more severe and less sympathetic.
• The old hearts nature still in you is even more severe and less sympathetic toward God, the Way of God, and the things of God.
• “If” define here as introducing a conditional clause on the condition or supposition that; in the event that.
• God has given us all the chance to choose each day who we will serve. And I believe this is before the new heart and the new spirit is put in you by Him.
• “Provocation” defined here as testing to elicit a particular response or reflex; action or speech that makes someone annoyed or angry, especially deliberately.
• Study and remember what the children of Israel did back in Numbers 14:19-23. Well, it is the exact same spirit of the heart today that God sees and is reckoning with today.
• We all will be tested in our wilderness to bring forth that which is really in your heart in order to replace your old heart. God will let you see what is there then you must choose.
• How long will you be caught between two opinions?
• Either you are going to serve God, or you are going to serve the devil (the world and the flesh)!
1 Kings 18:21 And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? If the Lord be God, follow Him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word.
• The Spirit of God is calling all to decision.
• Jesus said it like this to the rich young ruler in St Mark 10:21 Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest; go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, thou shalt have treasure in Heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow Me.
• The rich young ruler ran to Jesus, kneeling, and asking Him what he should do to inherit eternal life. He came to Jesus!
• So, if you are not ready and willing to change don’t run to the House of Prayer for you safety yet.
• Jesus told him about his knowledge of keeping the Commandments of God. He said to Jesus, Master all these have I observed from my youth.
• The love of and for your earthly stuff, possessions, wealth, education, etc., with no concern for his spiritual loss caused the rich young ruler to walk away sad and grieving at the Truth. This happens to many of us!
• Are you doing the same thing while on your spiritual journey? Are you sad and grieving over your natural and physical losses?
• You must choose who you’re going to serve because God has already given you the benefit of a doubt.
• To give someone the “benefit of a doubt” is to give someone one more chance.
• God has already given this to all mankind through His Son Jesus.
• Choose without your 5-sense knowledge of good and evil by comparing it to God’s plan of spirituality in the knowledge of good and truth. There is no comparison!
• God sends His Word and speaks His Word inspired through the vessels He has chosen.
• We must learn to have reverential fear in the presence of God through the vessels that stand before you as He is using them.
• Reverential fear means to stand in awe of, or fear of; Godly fear is greater than worldly fear.
• Every leader called and chosen by the Spirit of God to manage His flock should have such a reverence for God that the people will only see his/her reverence and glorify the Father also.
• Every leader should not be so familiar with the sheep that he has clicks or favorites within.
• Every born-again believer must learn to stand on their own confession in the plan of Salvation.
Romans 10:14-15 14 How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? 15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? As it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
• The feet of God’s messengers are beautiful!
• The Word of God has everything we need to have life and godliness in this earth. 1 Peter 1:3 According as His divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
• Jesus Christ has validated the Word of God in the earth and Heaven has approved and agreed.
• Jesus Christ demonstrated and supported the truth of the Word of God. He has made and declared it legally valid in Heaven and on earth.
• God speaks through His Word to us all that have heard and is hearing through the vessels that He has called and chosen.
• We are the ambassadors of Christ Jesus called and chosen in the earth.
2 Corinthians 5:20-21 20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God. 21 For He hath made Him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him.
• God is calling the Church through those that He has appointed.
• Ambassador defined here as an accredited diplomat sent by a country as its official representative to a foreign country. A person who acts as a representative or promoter of a specified activity.
• As new creatures in Christ being transformed into a Son are ambassadors for Him on earth sent by the Kingdom of God as its official representative, called the Church.
• Therefore, our born-again transformation makes Salvation a journey for us in a land that has become foreign land to the new creature in you, with God pleading through us on Christ behalf to be reconciled to God.
• This is what we should be doing that say that God has called and chosen us to be a witness as well as being a leader.
• We should only be pleading the validated cause of Christ Jesus because God so loved mankind (the world).
• So, every gift to the Church appointed by Christ Himself first is to be patterned after Christ, not the tradition and religion of men.
Ephesians 4:11 says and He gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
• No one that is called and chosen by the Christ is greater that another: Apostles are special messengers, representatives for Christ. Prophets are to speak a new message from God to His people (be His mouthpiece). Evangelists are to spread the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ in Salvation and the Kingdom. Pastors and teachers are to shepherd, guide and instruct the flock of God.
• How hard can this be when we are walking in Spirit after the Spirit?
• Today the ears of the hearers and doers of the Gospel of Jesus Christ must learn to hear the gifts of the Church, not their titles or positions or blood relations, but what the Spirit of God is saying through them with respect to do the Will of God.
• Gender (male or female) is not a factor in spirituality.
• We are all one in Christ Jesus, Galatians 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
• We are all made in His image after their likeness, that is spiritual, not gender.
• Two (2) years ago today we began to teach and preach the purpose of God in Personal Touch on the spirituality of man, your authentic self.
• When we began purpose the fellowship dropped; saints stopped fellowshipping with us because spirituality drives out tradition and religion. There is no room or space for it!
• We are spirit beings encased in human bodies, having human experiences possessing a soul.
• Your Soul is the communicator with God.
• Jesus Christ is our likeness once your Soul is awakened. He must grow, imitate, and become a son which will give us back our image of God.
Amen
