• Faith plays a crucial role in your Salvation and will become the destroyer of the kingdom of darkness as it matures.
• Faith is necessary in Salvation because it is through faith that we accept Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord of and over our lives.
• Faith is required to trust in Jesus’ ability in His completed work to deliver us from the ruinous effects of our sin.
• Jesus is the object of our faith.
• Believing in Jesus is exclusive for He is the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father but by Me. St John 14:6.
• Jesus completes us. He is who and what makes us full, entire, and lacking nothing else.
• His birth, burial, and resurrection must become a part of our soul’s journey in Salvation to reach spiritual maturity to become a son also to God as we follow His Way, His examples, His demonstrations, and His faith, trust, and belief in God the Father.
• Abraham’s mighty faith was our example of justification by faith recorded to us that will believe. Faith has been charged to (imputed) to our Salvation’s account through Jesus who became our substitute to deliver us from our offences.
Romans 4:23-25 23 Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him; 24 But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on Him thar raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead; 25 Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.
• Faith requires action. It involves acting in and on your belief in God in His Way of reconciling man back to Himself as renewed, regenerated through Jesus.
What is spiritually mature faith in Salvation?
Let’s begin with the spirituality of the species Man; define a spiritually mature new creature in Christ; define the word mature.
• The spirituality of man the species is the created part of man, that is male and female in gender. We all have the spirit man in us.
Genesis 1:26-28 26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness, and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. 27 So God created man in His own image, in the image of God created he him: male and female created He them. 28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
• God created Himself in the likeness of a man. He created him (man) and genderized man: male and female, He created them.
• God repeated Himself about the dominion He gave to male and female and what they had dominion over. This did not and does not include one another!
Genesis 2:7 And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
• A spiritually mature new creature in Christ is one whose character, personality disposition, mannerism, and behavior in word, deed, actions, and thoughts emulates the character of Jesus Christ Himself.
• Spiritual maturity is the state of your being, your spirit man being fully developed in the full spiritual stature of Jesus the Christ, dwelling in you, and inhabiting the earth through you.
Ephesians 4:13-16
13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into Him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.
• This is and should be the true spiritual state of every born-again believer striving to be transformed into a new creature in Christ, in unity with Christ, to become filled with the fullness of Christ in His perfection (which is maturity) to be just like Christ Jesus in the earth.
• When the world, the flesh, and the devil see your matured faith all they should see and hear, and encounter through you is Christ Jesus Himself, and not a replicable of themselves well-dressed outwardly having a form of godliness.
• We love to imitate, covet, try to demonstrate, and be like so many but we don’t want to become a son that will exemplify Christ Jesus the Son.
• Matured in faith makes you dead to self (your flesh), the world, and the devil and places you in the Presence of the Lord God to do according to His Will, pleasures, and purpose of Himself in you in earth.
• Until your faith has been matured in Christ you are not ready to live in this world as a born-again believer.
• Why? Because the temptation of this world is still great to the eyes of the beholding believers that are still lusting for in their flesh and its desires; lusting through their eyes mingled with the past of their old nature; and lusting in their selfish pride that always keep saying “what about me?”
• The definition for mature is having reached the most advanced stage in a process. The process we are referring to is Salvation.
• Mature is also defined for the natural, physical, and outward man as being fully developed physically; full-grown. This is maturity in its outward appearance, but God looks at your heart maturing in Him and not at your outward appearance.
• Matured in faith deadens you to all unrighteousness, which is sin and makes you alive in Christ fulfilling the Law of God and its righteousness.
• Put a simpler way, Faith kills sin!
Romans 6:10-14
10 For in that He died, He died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, He liveth unto God.
• Prophet Caun says you won’t go to Hell for sin because Christ died for all sin. But he failed to tell the people that the Word of God will never contradict itself. Romans 6:23 says for the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
• People you better know the Word in Spirit and in Truth because you will have to choose!
11 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.
12 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.
13 Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.
14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.
• Faith alone begins the process but maturity in faith will crucify your flesh.
• Mature in faith produces fruit and without the activities of faith there will be no fruit.
• Faith without work is dead! James 2:17.
• Mature in faith will only produce fruit of righteousness.
• Many believers are fruitless because they lack faith nor is their faith alive and maturing in Christ. And your flesh and blood relatives are not your fruit to produce until you can become fruitful! Then their sin, ugly ways of struggling to be saved or get saved or their trying to hinder you from being fruitful won’t bother you in your journey.
• A spiritual battle cannot be fought in the physical realm!
• Being spiritually matured is the new creature in you growing in his faith and has grown to become fully aware of the heights, breadths, and depths of God’s love and grace for him now making it easier to live and produce a lifestyle of his faith in Christ in earth.
In closing,
• Is your faith matured? Or is your faith maturing?
• It is your faith that aids the leading, guidance, and support of the Word of God for you according to the Will of God.
• Ultimately, Salvation for all mankind from sin was the purpose of Jesus’ birth, burial, and resurrection. This was His cost to pay, and it was paid in full for you and I!
• We were both with a price that only one was chosen by God the Father to pay the price.
1 Corinthians 6:20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.
• Spiritual maturity is an ongoing process that develops a daily relationship with the Lord God and bring you into being a part of a greater spiritual family as you mature in faith.
• Matured in faith means to not be proud of your own works but wanting to minister to others in honesty about your errors, failings, hinderances, and deliverances so that your relationship is genuine as it builds other relations in Christ.
• Spiritually maturing in faith is about growing in faith and becoming more like Jesus to show His love for all.
• Faith is our trusted commitment to God. It motivates you and directs you to God’s love. This is another part of our cost for true spirituality in Christ.
• If your Salvation and its processing has not or is not spiritually growing the new creature in you, for you to become like Jesus then you need to reevaluate your attraction and desire for Salvation and its purpose.
Amen
