Being called into righteousness to be spiritually delivered
“Spiritual Liberty”

Romans 6:17-18 17 But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you. 18 Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.
• Only God’s saving Grace, which is Salvation through Jesus will free you spiritually from the physical sin and death that we were and are born in.
• Returning to God to become NOW a doer and hearer of His Will and His Word with a renewed heart and mind.
• Ezekiel 36:26-27 tells us of a new heart that God will give to us and a new spirit He will put in us. The verses of scripture say that He will take away the stony heart out of our flesh that we were born with to give us a heart of flesh.
• God goes on to say in verse 27 that He will put His Spirit in us which is His Holy Spirit that will cause us to walk in His statutes, we will keep His judgments, and do them.
• A renewed heart is the spiritual heart of the new creature in you that has been awakened by the heard Word of God. The old stony heart of our old nature and old man MUST BE replaced by God.
• Man cannot do this; going to seminary and theology classes (schools) cannot do it. This is a spiritual process that only the Spirit of God can do.
• Why? Because God knows our heart, its motives, and intent toward Him and His Will.
Jeremiah 17:9-10 9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? 10 I the Lord search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.
Genesis 6:5 And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
• No matter how morally good you say you are in self our good is as of a filthy rag in the sight of God.
• Sin is universal and we are/were all born in sin and shaped in iniquity and must be set free from sin, then delivered from the reason, cause, and effects of what put us in the bondage of sin.
Isaiah 64:6 But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousness’s are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.
• Self-righteousness is as a filthy rag in the sight of God.
• Tradition and religion, rituals, and ceremonies that does not include the Spirit of God, His Kingdom, and His righteousness are as filthy rags to Him.
• Every born-again believer in Christ MUST Be freed first from sin, its penalties, and consequences before deliverance takes place.
• These are spiritual processes! Only the Spirit of God and the Spirit of His Word can perfect every believer born-again in Him to becoming a new creature in Him.
• Being freed from sin gives us the power (the ability to do) to choose God or mammon.
St Matthew 6:24-25 24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. 25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?
• Worldly concerns and cares are forbidden here.
• We must as a new creature in Christ possess the fruit of the Spirit called temperance to help aid and assist in restraining your appetites.
• Don’t worry about your clothing and what you should wear.
• Believe it or not the Spirit of God will dress and adore you to His liking if you let Him.
• It is the Spirit of God that spiritually attracts us to set us free from the sin of our flesh, its lust, habits, behaviors, and practices.
St John 6:44-45 KJV Amplified says 44 NO ONE is able to come to Me unless the Father Who sent Me attracts and draws him and gives him the desire to come to Me, and [then] I will raise him up [from the dead] at the last day. 45 It is written in [the book of] the Prophets, And they shall all be taught of God [have Himn in person for their Teacher]. Everyone who has listened to and learned from the Father comes to Me.
Isaiah 54:13 And all thy children shall be taught of the Lord; and great shall be the peace of thy children.
• Many believers are still caught and entangled between being freed from their sin and death to be spiritually delivered from the spirits of error, ignorance, and the spirit of the bondage of ownership.
• As new creatures in Christ we are to be in the world, but not of the world.
Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, Will of God.
• As new creatures in Christ being called into the righteousness of God to be spiritually delivered should no longer love the world and the things of the world. For if we are still loving the world and the things in it, the love of the Father is not in you. For all that is in the world is earthly and our flesh gravitates to it through the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life. None of this is of the Father but of the world. (1 John 2:15-16).
• Flesh is the weaker element in human nature.
• Flesh is carnal, worldly, and carnal minded.
St Matthew 26:41 tells us to watch and pray so that we don’t enter into temptation: that the spirit of man is willing, but his flesh is weak.
Romans 7:5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
• So, as a new creature in Christ your flesh must be mortified, deaden to be put to death on your cross.
St Matthew 16:24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.
• The suffering and sacrifices of Jesus Christ paved the spiritual way to the Father and demonstrated the way of the Father that would please Him. All humanity called, attracted, and given a desire to come to Jesus must suffer, sacrifice, and demonstrate the way of Jesus to the Father. There are no exceptions! No flesh is exempt!

Contrast Spiritual liberty versus Natural physical liberty.
Romans 10:9-10 9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto Salvation.
• What you believe is in your heart? What you walk and live by is in your heart?
• Confessing Salvation as stated in Romans 10:9-10 is like the time of release from the sentencing of sin, the crimes of sin that you committed against the laws of God and man. Your confession confirms your Salvation which opened to you as a believer in Christ a release from the bondage of your sin, its consequences, and penalties you were born in.
• This is a spiritual release from your sin not a natural release. You must choose daily to willingly walk by faith in the liberty of the freedom that Christ Jesus has set in place for you. You must be willing and obedient to accept His Way, walk in it, live in it to birth and bring forth a new lifestyle in according to the prescribed methods of God’s plan of Salvation by accepting His conditions of repentance and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
• Now you are freed from sin and death to come into the knowledge of good and truth and accept God’s Way through Jesus Christ.
• This is the crucial stage here where many believers get entangled and snared in the freedom of their Will to choose according to the Will of God or according to your Will in the knowledge of good and evil. You must be delivered from the cares, concerns, issues, circumstances, situations, and perils of this world that gravitates to your flesh, its lust, habits, practices, desires, along with the devil, his temptations and influences in the knowledge of good and evil by being taught how to spiritually hear, accept, and live in your new life as a new creature in Christ the Will of God through and in His Word.
• Deliverance is the next phase or door if you will that we all must enter to get the spiritual cleansing that we need to permit the Spirit of God to live and dwell in us and no longer upon us.
• Here is a kicker here! Your deliverance depends upon you giving up by surrendering your Will, your Way, and all your knowledge and understanding in the knowledge of good and evil you were born into under your old nature of flesh and blood to the TOTAL Will of God and His righteousness.
Spiritual Liberty
• True spiritual liberty is deliverance from all sin.
• Spiritual liberty is a state of inner peace, freedom, and liberation that transcends all believers from their external circumstances, situations, and issues of the world, the flesh, and the devil.
• If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed. (St John 8:36).
• And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. (St John 8:32).
• Spiritual knowledge will give the new creature in you the fuller revelation of Christ Jesus in you the Hope of Glory.
• Colossians 1:25-29 25 Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the Word of God; 26 Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to His saints; 27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you the hope of glory: 28 Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus: 29 Whereunto I also labour, striving according to his working, which worketh in me mightily.
• Every born-again new creature in Christ must come into the knowledge and understanding with wisdom to apply it that Christ Jesus must be birth in you through the seed of God and in that birthing the Spirit of God will awaken Jesus in your soul to live the life and lifestyle of Jesus Christ in the earth NOW.
• The liberty of God’s people stands in the Truth, and in their communion of it, in the perfect spiritual law of Jesus Christ, which delivers and preserves them from every evil thing that we were born in, learned, and taught in to form a life and lifestyle of bondage in the knowledge of good and evil.
• Sin has a spiritual and natural hold on the whole man (male and female).
Natural physical liberty is not the same nor is it like spiritual liberty.
• As a prisoner according to the ordinances of man and you have done your sentenced time you have a date of release from prison, they then unlock the prison doors to let you out to be rehabilitated to introduce you back into society to hopefully do better, but you are still spiritually enslaved in your heart and mind from the order of the prison system and its methods.
• The rehabilitation of man’s Will and order will never take the place of God’s spiritual liberation to totally set free the prisoner in the prisoner for good.
• Why? Because his/her conscience has been seared with the order, ways, and mindset of a prisoner that is incarcerated and has lost all his/her privileges to and in a life of freedom.
• Sin is in his conscience!
• Ever since the fall of man mankind has tried to undo as well as under mind God’s Will and Way of doing. He still does today but has never been able to master it and never will, so he continues to keep on failing in his own self-pride and deception instead of looking unto Jesus the Author and Finisher of his faith.
• Mankind’s heart and mind will never accelerate above and over the Will of God for man.
• The system of this world tries to teach mankind to change his heart perspective to give him a better outlook on his life and circumstances, but it ain’t happening. ONLY the Spirit of God can renew and regulate the heart of the spirit man to change him and cause him to walk upright before Him in righteousness.
• The mindset of a prisoner is influenced by the prison environment and the mental stress of being incarcerated even after his time has been fulfilled by the laws of man.
• The prisoner’s personality includes the chronic loss of freedom, lack of privacy, daily stigma, fear, and all other works of the flesh that he/she will appease to, etc.
• Their mindset is still that of a prisoner. They are still spiritually imprisoned though they have been naturally released.
• The mindset of a people that orchestrated, condoned, discriminated, and even participated in racism are still in spiritual bondage. This is another type of spiritual bondage created by mankind, not God but mankind.
• God is a Spirit. The Spirit of God must make the spirit being in you free to be able to walk in the Spirit, by the Spirit, after the Spirit, and obey the Spirit.
• Being freed from sin to make a conscience choice to live right and in right standing with God and man but you must have a freed conscience then delivered. This is a spiritual choice!
• Material and temporal possessions will never fill the VOID of being spiritually free and delivered. It may apply a temporary fix but will never give you the complete renewal.
2 Corinthians 3:17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
• Being spiritually freed closes the doors to all your past so that you can and will allow the Spirit of God and His Word to deliver you from you first, then all others.
• As a new creature in Christ, you have no past because your liberty in Christ has closed its passage and entrance leaving you with a mindset of newness and in His presence.
Hebrews 9:14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
• Every born-again new creature in Christ must allow the Blood of Jesus to purge their conscience from their past and all its dead works to serve God in Spirit and in Truth.
• There is no struggle in Salvation when you let God influence, control, and reign in you and over you.
Hebrews 10:22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.
